My brother is mad at my family and his girlfriend because she didn’t see him the day our dog passed away. She doesn’t drive that’s why she couldn’t see him. Do you think she should have someone else drive her to our house to see him? He was crying so much when our dog passed and I cried too. He was a huge part of my life. I think she texted him and my family saying she’s sorry for our loss and bought over flowers but she didn’t see him the day he passed. Does my brother has the right to be upset over this?

it's not selfish it's a matter convenience. maybe she really had no reasonable way to get to your house. she brought flowers and did express sympathy. that's really i think an acceptable level of sympathy.
