Should I confront a friend who forgot my birthday as our friendship fades?

So, I have this friendship that has lasted for almost 8 years, but I am not going to lie, it hasn't been perfect. For all this time, I can say that this person never really regarded me as a close friend, no matter how many times she has said it in the past. There have been many instances where I can remember her making me feel less important, and she hasn't been the most perfect friend. She is the person who has had many friends over time and always values a set of friends for a season. At this point, I really don't care. I was close to ending the friendship in 2025, but I didn't. She reached out at the beginning of the year, and I answered her as I needed advice on something. I know, probably not the best. After that, she did check in only a few times through text. In the meantime, I have seen her hanging out with her other 3 friends through her posts on social media, which, as I said, doesn't bother me as much. What bothered me was the fact that after all these years, she didn't remember my birthday (not even a text). Then her birthday was in 2 weeks, which she celebrated with those 3 friends and her boyfriend. I texted her happy birthday a day before ( I was a day off) just to be cordial. She said thanks, but it's tomorrow. I didn't even expect to be invited to her celebration, and I wasn't planning on going. Things have been addressed before over the years. She reached out recently and asked if I wanted to hang out. I know she thinks I am mad because we haven't hung out, but it's not. It's the fact that I remember important dates, but she doesn't bother.
