Would you have liked your partner if you’d met as kids?

When I hear about my wife's childhood, it was quite similar, although in a different continent, we had similar experiences, growing up, family dinner time, working. I think I would have enjoyed hanging out and playing with her even then.

How about you, have you gotten to know what your partner was like when they were a child?

you know I ran away from the city hospital because I was so bored … then took a bus on my own to get home. I wasn’t even 10 years old 😂

No. One thing I know about her, and women in general is that you cannot convince them of anything. She either wants to believe you, or she won't. Doesn't matter whether you're right or not. We're talking about a woman here. And she would never have given me a second look when we were younger. Wouldn't have mattered what I said or did. I was NOT what she was looking for at the time.

Yeah probably. Both had hard lives with nobody to turn to when we needed it. Safety in numbers, or just... let go, together.

Yeah, I 100% would’ve liked my wife as a kid. She was this shy, bookish, stubborn little angel… basically my type in miniature. I was the quiet, Lego-obsessed, indoor kid, so we’d probably have been trading snacks and secrets at recess.

Knowing her childhood stories now makes me fall in love with her twice: the woman she is and the little girl she used to be.

I think I would have based on childhood friends. I knew them as I grew up, and some are great guys.

It was off limits the deeper friends we became.
