I do have values, but not exactly maxima...
as in, I don't compromise them... but I do compromise to certain circumstances...
sometimes... there are just some things in which life will make you face a situation in which there's no good or right but wrong... and less wrong and then, inaction would be even worse and that's the one thing to avoid
as someone who is trained in fighting, and someone who hates violence, one of my "values" is that, to never every get into fights and to not use physicality in an aggressive way (I'm even more trained in self-defense, anyway) but... butI've done exactly that before, once... the exception to that rule, was some asshole who thought that sexually harassing and terrifying a dear friend of mine was "funny" and "just a joke" so... let's just said that I had very funny jokes to tell, so he didn't stop laughing for a couple of months without his ribs hurting so you know...
I hated it, not proud of it... but I can't exactly say that I regret it ( I still hate all of it though)
before that day, there were few incidents in which he had done the same to others... after that year... it's been unheard of, of him doing the same ever again, so I guess it was "worth it"
I find it more depressing that many people don't hold values to consider compromising.
Kudos on the image.
I like to think values are not negotiable however there are certain situations in life where diplomacy is required for the sake of the higher purpose so being inflexible is not possible. That doesn't mean I am giving up a value, it just means that I am seeing things in a different perspective that doesn't include my values.
Don't think I have any values? Just strong opinions that can change with persuasion using better logic and perspectives I might not have thought of.
I don't believe you

When faced with a difficult choice, compromise is often the best solution.
By the end of this insane century all "values" will have been re-defined; including associated vocabulary.
There will be nothing left that could be compromised.
Therefore, I take a leap ahead by not compromising anything.

which does not mean that I will not continue to transfer insights from earlier days.

To compromise a statement of Sokrates:
"I know that you don't know"
Never compromise your core values. I'm a lot older than you, however I've learned through life that it's not worth it. Once you start to lower your personal standards, it only gets worse, so don't start. Good luck ✌️
I generally do not compromise my values unless they aren't strong values to begin with.
Then let your delusional values restrict you and hold you down.
I don't compromise my values, but then again, can you really compromise on being pretty unethical?
Simples...
Yeah you sacrifice your values when you realise that most people in this world are cretin with no values themselves. So you stop letting abstract concepts hold you back.
When the social discord get too hot. It would be time. If the other discorder are not rational, than never.
All values are situational. If you think they're not, you've never been in a challenging situation.
The only time you should ever compromise a value is when it prevents someone from suffering.
It's hard for me to open up sometimes.. so i sometimes choose to contact my friend
