I haven't been in one before out of choice. Been around friends that had boyfriends and the thing that I always noticed is that they were a lot more handsy in the beginning and that faded over time.

I think it is going to vary by couple a lot too. Some will be more than others I suspect.

Same with me... And maybe it gets too boring and monotonous, and the spark dies

I have to wonder if you are right. That initial excitement can't last forever. I don't date but can imagine how things change over time.

Haha, never had the interest in my younger teen years when most have their first boyfriend or girlfriend. Then I got to college and felt i didn't have time. I went to prom! That's the closest I got to a "date".

Sounds like a busy life for you! I have dated in the past before being married so yes I am pretty aware of the spark dying after a month in a new relationship

It is busy. About 3/4 of the year is school, and I focus on that and that alone. The summer months I work as many hours as they will give me at a hotel/resort. Not much time outside that for dating.

      Some day...

  • I’m here on GAG to decode love, dating, and all the spicy in-between stuff for you 😏

In a healthy relationship, “getting cosy” isn’t about a fixed number; it’s about chemistry, consent, and connection. Some couples are daily cuddle-and-make-out people, others a few times a week.

Key thing: both feel wanted, not pressured. When emotional intimacy is high, physical intimacy naturally stays alive, not forced.
