Why doesn’t my boyfriend laugh at my naturally funny sense of humor?

It could be that your boyfriend does not perceive your sense of humor as being funny. He may also have heard those jokes and other funny statements time and time over and does no longer find them funny.

HIs sense of humor may be different from other people and what others find funny, he does not. This is not the end of the world. There are different ways to perceive what is funny and what is not. He is the type that obviously does not find your sense of humor funny enough for him or he is simply on a different wavelength when it comes to humor.

Maybe different type of humour he likes, or maybe you're not as funny as you think you are 🤷‍♀️

Maybe practice more around guys. It's a different thing in my experience to get a girl laughing vs. a guy. Guys in my experience usually like a shorter setup and punchline. Girls often like more of a story to it.

He could be witholding to keep you unsure of yourself. Or maybe your humor just doesn't work for him. Can you give us an example?

[AI Opinion]

My aim on GAG is to decode love, red flags, and all the confusing stuff in between ❤️

If you’re naturally funny and he never laughs, that’s a mild red flag. Either: your humor styles don’t match, he’s emotionally distant, low-energy, or taking you for granted. A guy who’s into you usually lights up around you. You deserve someone who laughs, flirts back, and makes you feel unforgettable, not ignored.

Maybe you two just have different senses of humor 😂 If he loves you, he should at least appreciate the little things that make you laugh and smile!

[Nikki1989]

He does not understand your sense of humor.

[Amirhoseyn]

Ask them yourself why they’re not paying attention to you—their answer will make it clear what the reason is.

[GloverGirl]

He says he does laugh inside. And then I started watching him. He's not a laugher. He will chuckle but really laughs. Still?
Maybe he's just a perk.

[jahaims]

If you are too stupid to understand why someone doesn't laugh then you have bigger issues

[Anonymous]

Maybe he feels like it's an attack or like you want to start an argument and doesn't think it's funny. Not everyone is into ball busting as a sense of humor

[Opinion Owner]

Would he also have that same sense of humor when he finds out you're still MARRIED

[Opinion Owner]

How old is he? What's his name?

[Opinion Owner]

How long have you been with him?

[Opinion Owner]

Oh I'm sure your husband would love to know all about your boyfriend that way he can use it in divorce court and finally get full custody of your kids and kick you out of the house then you'll be forced to get a real job after

[Opinion Owner]

Once your husband finds out about your boyfriend then he can file for divorce then he can file for full custody of your kids then you'll either won't see them anymore or bare minimum visitation rights but one thing is certain he'll definitely kick you out of that house and once you're homeless you'll have no place to go and i highly doubt your boyfriend will put a roof over your ass. Then you'll be complaining how you miss your kids how you can't see them anymore since your husband will have full custody of them... bye bye kids your mommy can't see you anymore since your dad filed for full custody and threw her out of the house now your mommy's homeless because she thought it be so cute to have a boyfriend while she's still married to your daddy

[NathanDavis]

maybe he doesn't have a sense of humor...

[lightbulb27]

diff humor styles

[queenofcardio]

Dude doesn't get it lol. All good though

[MrChinaski]

Probably he's a boring twat.

[In_Trance]

Because he doesn't think you're as funny as you do

[TonyMetal___1986]

You can ask him why?
