At 25 do you think people have more maturing to do?

My boyfriend has a constant habit of picking up my cellphone any time he can, and going through my call log and reading all of my text messages. I don't have anything to hide, but I'm just curious about why he's doing this? Does anyone else's boyfriend/girlfriend pick up your cell 20 times a day to check out what you've been up to?

I haven't given him any reason to suspect anything, so why does he do this?

Should I tell this guy that I am falling in love with him (and I know I am), or should I wait for him to say something first?

Should I ask him how he feels?

We have been together for 3 weeks now.

I have been hinting at it...

Should I give him some space/time, or ask him up front? Would he tell me if he did love me, or keep it to himself?

So I've been talking to both my guy and girl friends about this.

All the girls of course seem to stick to what they want to believe. If a guy chases you, it means he really likes you. That if a guy really likes you, then he's willing to chase after you and do whatever it takes. Please, don't spam the responses with how this is largely more what we want to believe and tell ourselves rather than how things are. I get it.

Nearly all the guys I've asked have told me the same thing. That the only reason a guy would chase a girl is if he's either desperate for female attention, or if he just wants sex. He's willing to do anything to get what he wants, and what he wants isn't her, but just sex. But if a guy really likes a girl, then the last thing he wants to do is chase. If he really likes her and wants something long-term with her, then by chasing, he's basically accepting an unbalanced frame in the future relationship where he wants her more than she wants him, where he's almost begging her for her to like him, where he's waiting on her for her approval and acceptance. If a guy was serious about a girl he really liked, he wouldn't want to give over that control and power and enter into an unbalanced relationship. So his self-respect and dignity tells him to stop when a girl does or says something that shows him she wants him to chase her. But if he doesn't want anything to do with her in the future, then he doesn't care about such things, so he'll freely just toss away his self-respect and dignity and just chase, because he doesn't view it as entering into an unbalanced relationship but as getting one step closer to just having sex.

It's a really good point that I guess I've never considered before.

My guy friend always finds ways to have physical contact with me. He likes to poke me, wrap his one arm around me, or use my shoulder as an armrest then poke my cheeks or chin. When we're dance partners for ballroom lessons, he likes to hold me close to him, and it seems like he doesn't want me to not be in his arms. These gestures are kind of sweet though. BUT...

Sometimes he initiates play fights with me, like trying to punch me/kick my butt. I'm just wondering if he's doing this as friends or if he has feelings for me, because I need to figure out what to do. Sometimes I wonder if he's just playing games with me to have fun..

Ok, so I am not the hottest girl on campus or anything, but I am also not totally lacking. Today, this really really cute guy came up and introduced himself to me. Normally this wouldn't happen to me, so I thought it was weird.

He came up and said hi as we were walking. I think he may have thought I was cute too because he seemed kinda nervous (saying sorry when he messed up something he said XD). it was really cute, and I thought that he was really hot. He asked what floor of our dorm that I live on too.

IDK. Maybe I am imagining things, but I think he might be interested.

Should I go and initiate by saying hi again/stopping by his room? Or would this be a futile effort and is all in my imagination? Haha. I know it seems silly to ask this, but I have only dated once before and am slightly inexperienced. Just had a really bad breakup about a month ago too. Hope you guys can help. Maybe I will be motivated to go talk to him. I am very shy too if that helps at all.

Do guys really prefer to say "I love you" first? This is a much debatable subject that my friends and I can never manage to agree on.

I used to watch her on the Food Network. Quite enjoyable stuff. What do you think about her body? It's a very exaggerated hourglass. I think it's hot, plus her face is stunning, imo.

I see lots of questions regarding the big girlfriend-boyfriend question, and sad to say always posted by women. I have never asked this question, and only ever experienced it with 2 of my previous boyfriends.

Is this a normal conversation for most folks? I've always let it happen naturally.

Are women expected to initiate this conversation? From the many posts, lots of women seem strangely compelled. I don't think I could ever do it. It falls into that category of questions like where is this relationship going, or when are we getting married... taboo.

Guys AND Girls: Babe vs. Baby - What's the difference?

I'm just curious to see what you guys thought about 'babe' and 'baby'. Is there a difference when you say/hear one or the other. Do you have a preference? What do each of them mean from your point of view? Are there certain circumstances where you will use one word over the other?
