Probably is seen as bad as you are marking your body, which is suppose to remain Holy. It is akin to writing on walls.

I'd like to draw attention to what just happened here. I asked you why tatoos are bad, and you responded with "because it desecrated the temple that is our body." but that answer relies on the assumption that tattoos are in fact a descrative thing, and the reason why they are dessecrative was what I was asking for in the first place. so you were in fact using circular logic.
