Christian guys, would you date a Christian girl who saves sex for marriage?

I'm dating a guy who claims to be Christian but has no Christian friends since he moved here. He drinks and parties occasionally so I'm not sure if he minds that I save sex for marriage. He might not go by that Christian standard.

I would defer intercourse for marriage but not without having advancing sexual intimacy/eroticism, which is critical to a complete relationship. To be totally abstinent withholds the love and validation a man needs.

Correct. We could date, but it wouldn't be exclusive. For exclusivity we'd need to be having sex. Because I'm already not having sex with most of humanity, so that's not very exclusive.

If you met a non-Christian girl who was willing to have sex, would you pick her over the Christian girl?

I wouldn't necessarily pick her over the Christian girl, but I wouldn't stop dating her either. If we got on and were comfortable having sex we certainly would. If we vibed a lot after that then it's possible I'd go exclusive with her, but it really all depends on our chemistry.

Of course it is. We'd have to get on much better. But I still wouldn't go exclusive with her until we were having sex.

Christianity means believing in Jesus as the savior, or even just trying to follow his teachings. No one is expected to be perfect; he had prostitutes as followers so why would having sex before marriage disqualify you?
