This priest, and many like him, are the "devil" leading this flock pretending to be a good guy. It is helped by the fact that 80% if not 95% of them have never read the Bible beyond whatever verses the priest recites/tells them to.

Proverbs‬ ‭17:15‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) ... “Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— both are detestable to the Lord" is just one of the many verses that prove their ignorance.

It is why many people in such flocks will donate heavily to the church or volunteer heavily believing they can "buy" their way into heaven because subconsciously their own ethics & morals know their or the others' behavior is wrong.

Why else shout they "love" the priest?

Hey OP, did you not know that the age of consent in Indiana, which is where this pastor is from, is 16? So if she was 16 when they did the deed, she was not under age and therefore it was perfectly fine.   @OddBeMe Did you even watch the video. The pastor was confessing in front of the congregation his sin of adultery from years ago with a woman, just as he was told to do in the Bible. That is what the congregation was applauding. After they heard what the girl said they were no longer applauding, or even supporting him. But but Biblically, if God can forgive someone for confessing their sin, than the congregations should. He just didn't confess that one though so was hiding the truth in this instance.
