So I was talking with this 30 year old guy. I invited him to chruch event we were having I ask him what religion was he. He tells me how he never attended chruch or belong to a religion or chruch. I offer him a Bible and I invited him to chruch service and Bible study. He looks at me like as if I was an Alien and goes on telling me that chruch and Christianity is boring and it's only for old people. Later he cancel on me. I'm confused 🤔 Why are most 30 year old not interested in chruch?
Well, I think the big obstacle for most people in our age range concerning organized religion is the continued political leanings and unethical practices done by Christian churches. I've met way too many hardcore Christians who want to force other people to follow their faith, especially if they don't really follow their faith. And the old moral values proselytized by any given Protestant Church are at odds with a lot of changing values in our modern society, so a lot of the people that I know either distance themselves from the church and try to progress with society or they go all in on the church but really just use it as a way to gain control not over themselves but over people around them

Many young people assume that religion means you shouldn't have any fun and they want to feel free to pursue unlimited pleasure without feeling any guilt.

I've never heard anyone of any age say being a devoted Christian "is for old people." The number of those attending Christian churches is dwindling, and those that aged beyond being made to go to worship services and Sunday schools have simply walked away from it for a host of reasons. I was raised Catholic, but have been unaffiliated with any religion for several years now for a host of reasons.

People are selfish and ignorant, and aren’t interested in the truth; plus they can’t see the truth since they are blinded by their sin and selfishness. The book of Romans (among others) directly addresses this.
Because they are not actually Christians. From faith works proceed although imperfect as we are also simultaneously those with faith/works are perfect In Christ Jesus.
You will find this to be common among your age group and even mine now, but especially your age group or younger.

Probably because they've either been watching too much early-1990s Saturday Night Live (back when the show was, you know, actually good) or that was their experience growing up.
He was likely a liberal democrat. They hate and despise Christians and anyone that sticks to a set of morals.
I’m 26 and I never went to churches except for weddings and funerals. I just didn’t grow up in it and from the outside looking in, religions are pretty strange
For me, it was because I found Christianity unbelievable. To me it was all obviously a myth.
I am a saved Christian. There are plenty of haters of us. Don't be surprised.Too much commitment for too little earthly reward, i expect.
How many time you saw him? Was it date one two or three? When you took out religious whip to whip him?
Last time I went to church with my parents there weren't many people under 70.
cause it tends to be
also, why do YOU HAVE to date a christian. why is that the law
my dad is an agnostic, but he was once a roman catholic, because of his parents. He hated it, and actually married a jew. She's agnostic as well but still identifies as a jew, just questions the existence of god
I'm the same. I don't care who I marry, as long as they're not some crazy nut job, which you come off as, sorry, not sorry
keep on trying.. you will find him...
