Trending & News Well, if you're looking for the direct words, from the text He wrote Himself, you unfortunately can't; Jesus didn't leave any writings (at least none that survived). What remains of His words are passed down in the parts of the Bible known as the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; the first four books of the new testament. You can find the text of the whole Bible, sorted by book, here: https://bible.usccb.org/bible and in many other places online.
Incidentally, there are many other books claiming to be gospels out there; Christian Churches generally reject those, classifying them as apocrypha, or... well, that doesn't mean "invalid" or "not real", but at the very least, not divinely inspired.
firstly that doesn't answer the question because not identify the part from jesus. less important that website has more than the "22 twenty two" books of old testament preserved in josephus book against apion.
@strateguy632 It absolutely answers the question, because there ISN'T any part directly from Jesus- no writings that He left survived, like I said.
And yes, there are 46 books in the old testament. If you're going to argue that biblical canon can't include anything NEW, then you can't have a canon at all, since even Genesis was added long after the proto-Jews came into being.
I mean, come ON, man- even the KJV nuts put *some* thought into their arguments.
at the following website, bible gateway tap the gear for settings and tap red letter that separated the words of jesus from the story written by matthew the student. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%204&version=ISV

so i am an atheist but as an atheist, i know that the only source that a genuine faith in god can ever come from is from that god himself. so you read the bible. that's it. you don't need human help to delude yourself. either what is in that book convinces you and you end up believing or you're like me and it completely drives you away from that nonsense. so if your goal is to end up having faith in what the bible says, i actually suggest not reading it.
I am an atheist too. And the more I read the Bible the more I see it's silly and full of holes.
But it's interesting I suppose. Supposedly Jesus is the one who is supposed to change peoples minds so I figure I'll give it a try.
if you read the bible as the book that it is, it makes more sense. it's legends spread by jesuses family and following to make people follow them. you gotta understand jesus was the grandson of one of the 12 tribe leaders of the jewish people. he tried to rule over people and gather a following but the romans occupants of at the time stopped him in his tracks. and people like jesus were not rare. the romans even a scornful name for people like him. they called them "messiah".
so what the story really is: jesus who is the bastard son of joseph and maria (that's why the devine conception story was made up), grandson of jacob who was not from a poor family at all but from a rich bloodline of emperrors tried to come to power and re establish the rulership of the 12 jewish tribes (aka kingdom of david) under roman occupation.
Ok, so some of the online apps like “the holy bible” and even a lot of handheld bibles have a red colored font for what Jesus spoke.
Most all of his speaking is done in the gospels, aka the books of Matthew Mark Luke and John
You can't. Unless you get a time machine.
Jesus never wrote anything. All you have are things people allege that Jesus said.
like students who personnaly saw and heard the teacher same as we hear our teachers. and those who saw write down in book john.
The Holy Bible is the teachings of Jesus. But it's recommended you start with his teachings in john
