There is no such thing as a "good atheist". Technically there is no such thing as "atheist," but they may not be an overt criminal. However, they play fast and loose with the basic tenets of what determines "moral good".

So you could say they are unreliable and of dubious merit, since they will decide on something being good or bad based on their opinions alone. They will join you in your good, and find a way to blame you for their bad.

Most atheists I've ever debated were sexual perverts and habitual liars, and some of them even said they'd reject God "even if he does exist" and "even if he appeared to them in person".

To claim that you have to have the qualities of a gullible person (trusting something base purely on faith means you are gullible as a small child) to be a good person is ridiculous.

No idea, and I would not draw a necessary conclusion from either number, nor would I assume morality or immorality/amorality from someone's self-chosen label. I've known very trustworthy people who question whether a god exists, and people who proclaim the Gospel whom I trust as far as I can through the U. S. S. Missouri.

@GOLDFISH_smile nazis weren't Catholic. That's why Catholic churches got shut down, Catholic charitable organisations banned and why so many priests ended up in concentration camps. Germany was long a Protestant country and catholics a persecuted minority ever since Martin Luther who was German.

The SS officers wore crosses on their belt buckles and Hitler professed his beliefs in his book. You can make an argument for him worshiping nature or being a pantheist but certainly not an atheist.

But just like the Soviet govt banning religion…the people were VERY religious in Germany and Russia. Like China today. And Catholicsm was very big in Germany. Many German Field Marshals were catholic. Didn’t stop them from killing millions.

And China today is rife with Buddhism and Taoism. It’s like the more the govt cracks down on religion, the more religious the people become.

An analysis of common people’s writings and local reporting from the time…shows very very religious peoples.

God in Romans 1 says creation says he exists. There's no evidence that microbes exist except when we use specific tools to see them such as microscopes. If microbes need something other than the naked eye, what of the creator of the universe. Genesis 1 vs 1'In the beginning God..'
