Why are Latter Day Saints so Charming and friendly?

So, I came across this Later Day saints sister and she was so excited and friendly to me. I can't believe people call them crazy and so on the internet. Why do people think so negative of Latter Day Saints? They are not bad people at all 😃🥰.

Is there a Latter Day Saint on this website?

So, I am reading the book of Mormon. It's really long and 795 pages long. And though I am Muslim I think Nephi and Lephi were actually prophets since they came before the Last Prophet. They are a little misguided in that they have Prophets but honestly I love their ideology and simplicity and hard work and everything 😃

It's what their culture encourages. I understand full well that a big portion of the reason for their mandatory missions in youth is to show them the dark outer world, away from their social fortresses, and how much it despises them (it doesn't, really; it just dislikes their lack of misery and the constant attempts at changing other people's religions, but of course, the young don't know that), but I've liked every Mormon I've ever met. There are positive consequences to positivity, after all.

I would point out, though, that a person who's still on Earth, subject to all human frailties and vulnerabilities, has not yet attained union with God, and is, therefore, not a saint. Saint aspirant? Sure. Future saint? Well, hopefully. But you're not there yet. Also, the "latter-day" part is going to seem VERY silly in seven or eight thousand years, but I don't blame them for that one.

Honestly I haven't met a Latter Day Saint till yesterday. They are so amazing, polite. I thought they were going to be weird 😅but believe it or not they were really really appreciative in comparison to other branches like Catholics and to a lesser extent Catholics 😊

Latter Day Saint's have a very polite demeanor, why are they so innocent when you talk to them man 😞.

Because they're kept largely isolated from the wider world, unlike other sects. The logical point of comparison isn't to the Catholics, but to the Jehovah's Witnesses, who ALSO do door-to-door proselytizing, and aren't as withdrawn.

I told her how I respect Jesus. I am actually Muslim but I have been curious about Christian faith.. and I came across her and she said she has a lot of Muslim friends and found us very high morals. I hope she isn't faking her interest 😞

Catholics talk to me like so bad, Protestants are okay, Orthodox are the best ones and friendly to me

They use that as sales tactics, they are selling a product and are happy to exploit that sales tactic as much as they can. If they were selling a product, they would be breaking so many selling and marketing rules.

probably to "lure you in" like tempting the fish with a worm on the hook. i do not think they are crazy but some call them that for believing some "weird" stuff like further from realistic than miracles.

Nah, they won't lure me in lol. But if I had a Saint wife 😅, I think life would be pretty great. All I see is people cheating in relationships and sleeping around.
But those Saints are great 😃.

Don't be arrogant, most people including yourself are already lured into teachings that are false.

One must already know that if there is only ONE God, then he only has one set of beliefs and all others are living in sin in his eyes. As a Christian myself I see most Christians living in sin and seemingly think it is OK from some sort of set of traditional beliefs that are not in the bible.

Different, like God was once a man and they will become gods themselves? That's in no bible.

As for Islam is Jesus God. The Islamic arguments I've heard are weak. One web site aboutislam.net/.../ even says that is does not state Jesus is God.

John 1:1 and John 1:14, which identify Jesus as the Word who was God and became flesh.
John 10:30, which records Jesus saying, "I and my Father are one."
Philippians 2:5-6, which describes Jesus as having the same nature as God.
John 17:21, which shows Jesus praying for his followers to be one as he and the Father are one.🤷🏻‍♂️

I meant, on that site, the writer states that it is no where mentioned in the Christian Bible that Jesus says he is God.

I am sure that the majority of Mormons are honest and decent people. The same applies to Catholics. but false teachings are spread, there are occult practices and one is seduced into being on the wrong side of the last great conflict in this world.
