***And That Good Things Finally Happen for a Reason? xxoo
I too, like a lot of the others here believe God gave us free will.
He has a plan and it will be whether we make the right decisions in our life or not.meaning, all of the big events have been predetermined. For example: all of the prophecies that have already come to be. They have all happened except the rapture which can happen any moment now. There is nothing else keeping that from happening. Then the 7 year tribulation.
like others have written, we have to make decisions in our life. And those decisions bring us to where we are now and going. Sometimes Even God will intervene to make sure his plan is on target.
Jonah refused to go Where God was telling him to and so the story of the whale to convince him. Our decisions have consequences and some are pretty painful.
I used to believe in a fairytale ending, that no matter what things will be good in the end but I know now it’s not true. And some things can’t be explained. If I look back at my life, sure I dated or married the wrong women or job selection but there isn’t anything significant enough that I can blame on my shitty barely existent life and how it’s ended up. But I sure wouldn’t have picked it and sure the hell wouldn’t do it again. It’s full of disappointment and regret.
The one big thing that I struggle with is how hard it is to get into heaven. We are all eternal. Once you are born your spirit will live forever. In one place or the other. Let’s say a man lived in sin for his entire 80 years then dies and goes straight to hell. It’s hard for me yo understand why God will send him to suffer in hell for eternity for punishment on 80 years. There are some videos of people having NDE near death experiences on YouTube where they were sent to experience hell and the total absence of God and it will scare the hell out of you to see how sincere these people are. One man was told in 2013 by Jesus that when they start speaking a lot about aliens he’s coming back soon. The Antichrist will use the aliens as the reason all the Christians disappeared from the planet instead of the rapture. The time is close and I think we all can feel it.

I definitely believe in God, that God is active in life around us, even if it's not in a way we always want, and that all things will be/end up as intended. I don't think this is an excuse, however, to just do 'whatever' because "everything will work out according to God's plan". I believe in personal responsibility. I personally have a lot of stuff to work on in my life, and I try to involve God in as much of it as I can remember to. But I'm by no means perfect and struggle with my faults daily. There has to be a balance between trusting that a Supreme Creator has things under control and the notion that we still make choices which are either to our benefit or to our detriment according to a higher moral code. But yes, all things will work out as planned in the end.
I knew a guy that was in a horrible flood. It wasn’t a surprise, the townsfolk had plenty of warning that it was coming. But one man refused to evacuate. He said that God would save him.
As the water was getting deeper….. a guy on a motorcycle went by.
Motorcycle guy: Hey, pal, jump on the back of my motorcycle and I’ll take you to safety!
Guy: No thanks, God will save me.
(the water was getting so deep that the guy had to crawl on top of his roof. And along comes a guy in a boat)
Boat Guy: Hey, pal, jump in my boat and I’ll take you to safety!
Guy: No thanks. God will save me.
(So now the guy was on top of his house and the water was up to his neck. Along comes a helicopter, and they lower a rope-ladder.)
Helicopter Guy: Hey, pal, climb up the ladder, and I’ll take you to safety.
Guy: No thanks. God will save me.
(So the guy drowns and goes to heaven)
Guy: Hey, God, why didn’t you save me?
God: For fuck’s sake, I sent you a motorcycle, a boat and a helicopter. I’ve kind of got my hands full up here, I can’t do everything for you. :)Paris, we have to meet him half way.

Now people inthe world would say that it because of my hardwork but reality is that the Lord mad ethe choice to have it all. I believe in God. But not everything He wants to happen actually happens because He gave us Free Will.
That means we can choose to do what we believe God would have us do to receive what He'd want us to receive from Him. Most people have this bizarre idea that because God knows the beginning from the end that everything that happens is what He wants to happen.
If that were true, don't people think He might have made sure not to put the snake in Eden? Or to plant the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil somewhere Adam and Eve wouldn't be tempted by it?
When Israel rebelled against Him and started worshipping Moloch where they took their own children and burned them alive the Bible says such a thought had never entered His mind. Perhaps that was beyond the imagination of a God who is and knows only good?
God exists throughout Time, but Time doesn't confine Him. Jesus actually says "Before Abraham was, I AM", which is either the most profound statement in history or Christ's grammar needed work. More likely the prior.
God exists outside Time, Space and Creation. Einstein's Theory of Relativity touches on this by showing the relationship between Light and Time. The closer you get to the speed of light - 186000 miles per second - the slower time passes. At the speed of light there is no passage of time. Everything happens "now". So when Jesus says He is the Light of the World and the Bible says God is Light it's quite possible for everything for God to happen simultaneously. So for Jesus, Abraham's entire life happened and is happening simultaneously.
Believing God is more important than belief in GodMy belief is choice and we always pick the wrong one but certain events are fixed and who we are and our character which does not change lead us to these events.
While you can choose to date the same trash guys eventually you will lend up at the right job doing what you have to in life despite your deciding to go the wrong way.
Now say you choose bad... Everything a generation or two down the like and your country is where it needs to be and your kids make the chooses they need to inorder to end up where they need to be.
The story is not about you we are all people loving in this world that affects each other.
Now after sounding like a doctor who fan. I do believe in God directing things helping nudge us. But it is still our choice!
To much evidence for God despite science trying to hide and lie about things. Especially looking inside of ourselves and how complicated we are and how durable we are despite our short comings.
Hii! long time no see:) i'm not active that much tho:/
my answer: I believe in God because he's literally THE KING. I believe he will do whatevere is right for me and that he's always near me, care for me and is leading my journey of my life. and the things i went through and will go through are just for me to grow ar personality. and yeah whatever is meant to be will be ofc:))
No, there’s no higher power or master plan. That is a claim I’m making based on evidence, like religious people claim god exists.
The default is to just say “I can never know”. As no one can prove to me we’re not in the Matrix.
I would say math has some compelling evidence, like chaos theory- as much I understand it. There are tiny patterns that look chaotic when in wide view but zoom in things are interconnected.
Surround yourself with capable, responsible people, you will magically have a capable and responsible life. And vice versa. No, the world is a big place and bitsxof matter are moves all around the world. They formed compounds and react with each other. The randomness is demonstrated by Brownian Motion. People are justvlike that on a larger scale. We have random things that drive our lives. A tree falls on you, you get struck by lightning, you contract Covid, or else you win PowerBar, meet a wonderful girl and get married and reproduce and it starts all over again
Well, I don't believe in any religion but I do believe that what is meant to be it will be. Whether is something good or something bad.
I don't believe that all good things happen for a reason. Some things (good or bad) happen for no reason.
I believe that everything that happens is meant to happen for some reason or another. IT is said that God Has a plan for everyone and I Hope that he Has a plan for me, too. Although, I'm not aurę if I will be able to make the right choice and follow IT.
I believe in God. I also believe that he gave us free will to make decisions and he guides us to the right ones which we do not always follow but if God has decided something is going to happen it will happen. But I think he uses our decisions to lead us to that, we still choose but he will use something that will push us there.
I grew up in a Christian household very strict about stuff I don't know if things are meant to happen for a reason though. I'm also native too though so it's like in a lot of that culture as a Native American we believe in some crazy stuff. Lol there's stuff that still keeps me up at night
I don't believe in God strictly speaking but I believe in the Universe and that whatever you send out that's what you get back. I also am a firm believer that things go how they're supposed to go and if something doesn't go as we wish there's always a very good reason for it and only time will show us why. Xx
My head hurts whenever I try to comprehend the infinite. I do beleive that God does use everything to complete His plan. Sort of like in the writings of Tolkien when Melkor tried to mess up the creation music with cacophony, but Eru instead wove it into a beautiful symphony.
I Believes in God and Jesus and the holy spirit. 💞
Not exactly no. There's a fork in the road

Which one do you CHOOSE to take. Most think they are taking the right fork when it's really the left.I believe in the freedom of making choices and bearing the consequences
I don't believe someone there steers the lives of 7 mld people on earthNo one is going to change God's judgements on Earth in the End Times. The time is set when it all starts, but no one knows the day or the time but God.
How can we be subject to a final judgment if we had no free will in our earthly lives?
I used to believe in Christianity when I was a gullible kid. But now that I've become so immensely smart & wise, it's hard to do.
I surely believe in god and in jesus teachings, what's meant to be is going to happen, if it's really meant to happen, sometimes good things happen and sometimes bad things happen, in our lives there are always ups and downs...
I believe in God. I believe God is sovereign. Therefore I believe what ever happens good or bad he either caused to happen or allowed to happen. We often don’t know why, he has his ways or reasons.
Yes, I believe things happen for a reason. That said, I don’t just sit in my hands. I try and make good things happen.
