Are guys who go to church always as innocent as some people make them out to be or they appear to be?

(No disrespect at all, as I’m a believer of God and I’m also not here to judge anyone if they don’t) I was wondering though if guys who go to church and worship god or dress nice, pray, etc ever slip up or often do something taboo like have sex and hook up with a girl outside of marriage , take a drink from a friend, go to a party, and other things and just don’t disclose this information with family or members of the church. Does this happen?

Christian men are in general more innocent and less experienced. I have dealt with christian men and find them to be more innocent than the rest. They do feel guilty for doing bad things and still have this rare feeling of shame that most people are feeling less and less nowadays. They do live indeed the opposits life in secret but because of the pressure they tend to have less chance to go crazy and degenrate about it. Though there are some crazy few

Of course these things happen. Even us church goers mess up and do things that are contrary to what God teaches simply because we are human and we sin. We fall short of God’s Law every day and we are incapable of following it perfectly within our own power. Scripture teaches us that reconciliation with God cannot happen without the shedding of blood, and nobody on Earth is righteous enough to be that sacrifice. That is why we need a Savior, we need Jesus.

I prefer to think that most Christian men are faithful, pious, and virtuous. They all do sin though, and sometimes with very serious sins. This doesn't necessarily mean that they're hypocrites (some are, others aren't). It just means that they are imperfect.

Men are men. The biology is deeper than the religion. I am sure there are really sweet, pious, devout guys with great values, but I am equally sure there are really bad men who are religious.

Of course it happens. Attending church dues not make someone a nice person. My friends are all nice people and none are religious.

actually, crime statistics say that people who go to church commit crimes more often on average. so i'd argue that the assumption that someone is "innocent" because they go to church is wrong and the exact opposite is true.

It has nothing to do with religion to begin with. Some people are atheists amd do commit crimes. It jas to do with how parents raised their kids. Shytty parents raise shytty criminal kids

@Meropatrick yes atheists do commit crimes but it is statistically evident that it's more christians proportionally so you saying it has "nothing to do with religion" is factually incorrect. there is this correlation i just described. so it has "something" to do with religion. if it didn't have anything to do with it, the numbers would be exatly equal between christians and atheists. and before you ask this: yes this number is corrected for population percentages.

@Meropatrick to make an extreme exaple for you: if one out of 1 atheists was in prison but 9 out of 10 christians was in prison, the argument "but atheists also commit crimes" would be pretty dumb.
