Isaiah 40:22 "It is God Who sits above the circle of the earth" - the ancient Hebrew "חוג—chuwg" means circle or sphere.
So in 740BC Isaiah states the earth is a sphere, and Job was written earlier than that, stating the earth is suspended in empty space. So the Bible actually says earth is a globe in space centuries before "science" recognised it.
And the closest to mentioning pi the scripture comes is God asking if Job was there to lay earth's foundation.

Regarding Job 26:7. The "northern sky". What about the southern sky? You know, the sky that I can see at night, because I live in the Southern Hemisphere on an oblate spheroid known as Earth. The writer of that passage (and no, it wasn't "God") didn't even know of the existence of the Southern sky! The books of the Bible have been proven to be unreliable, false, and not "written by God" so many times now, that it truly is miraculous that GROWN ADULTS still take that rubbish seriously.

I live in South Africa. I grew up in the UK. You'd be amazed how many constellations are fully visible from both.
There are zero modern examples of a collection of writings written in three languages by over 20 people who could not have read each other's writings yet contain references to each other over 63000 times over 66 books. None. Nevermind writing over the last thousand years.
Now you're just making excuses. Most of the constellations visible within one hemisphere are not visible in the other (ex. the Southern Cross). Unless of course you're really close to the equator, which the region of Palestine/Israel is not.
Most major constellation groups can be seen at some time of the year in both hemispheres.
You could argue that he didn't mention the Western sky or the Eastern. Yet you argue that because he only says the Northern sky that's "evidence" he doesn't know about the Southern constellations. Also, there's no evidence of where Job lived. How do you know he didn't live on the equator?

Then there's creation itself. There's no scientific evidence of life coming from non-living matter. So please, explain the origin of everything. The big bang theory only works if you accept that the laws of physics didn't apply prior to the big bang - which makes them phenomena, not laws - and even then, where did the matter to make the universe come from?

Many of their stories were "borrowed" from other, older cultures like Assyria and Babylon.

And out of the many, many stories that circulated, and "gospels" that were written down, only the four that suited the desired narrative were included in the (Roman Catholic) Bible.
So yeah, the Bible is a fiction written to create a cultural narrative and control people. It gave Judeans a sense of cultural identity. Christianity was forced upon the people of Europe and heretics were killed. Even Protestants take their beliefs from rewritten, reinterpreted versions of the Roman Catholic Bible. Zionism, a nationalistic ideology, is based on the Talmudic belief that Jews are God's "chosen people" and superior to all other humans.
One has to wonder why the Bible has more credibility than other religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Sikhism, Taoism, ancient or folk religions. I think it is simply because it was adopted by the dominant global empires of Rome and later Europe.

Most religious people dont read the bible. They just remember the watered down stories they were taught at school. For example we're taught about Mosses and exodus but they leave out he told his followers to massacre thousands of people.

That's your assumption. My read is that he gave them free will. From a human pov it's impossible for someone to simultaneously have free will and to be 100% predictable. This is a mystery. If we tried to tell an ant or a cat or a dog why we do some things it would be unable to fully comprehend. Likewise it would be wrong to assume we can fully comprehend God.

He gave them enough information to avoid trouble. They chose to ignore his instruction. One of the lessons is that actions have consequences. There are certain laws of life. I wouldn't assume that Adam & Eve should get a pass on this any more than they got a pass on the law of gravity. If they jumped off a cliff there'd be consequences.

"That's your assumption". What about when "God" is out and about, "walking in the cool of the day", and he's calling out and asking Adam where he is? He can't find him, because he (Adam) is hiding from "God"! So much for being omniscient!

Well, I'm not christian, so most of that doesn't apply to the Torah (because there's no Satan). However, in Judaism it's taught that HaShem (God) wanted Adam and Eve to leave the Garden. That's why he said "When you eat the fruit" not "if". Adam and Eve weren't the only humans, they were just the only ones in the Garden (that we know of).
The problem with people like you is that you don't understand science OR faith, which are also two separate things. You think you are being smart and logical but you're ironically being ignorant.

to paul @Paul09 about language, if we read bible in English it seems eve debated the snake speaking English. woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” we see they spoke English, answers your question... but it is a translation from something. so maybe not English. in order for the names to "work" adam must have been hebrew in verses 5:2 to match 2:7 so they spoke hebrew.
