The Bible doesn't explicitly stipulate abuse as a valid reason to divorce and re-marry. I went on a couple day trip with a woman who is divorced with a child for that reason. We just made out, but unless she had some sort of change of heart, that makes it more complicated now. If she didn't have this history, maybe it would be clearer to me, but I don't know... I'm really confused. Plus she lives 3 hours from me, which means I'd have to move there at some point. I am really struggling with this. I can't marry someone if it means I'll be living in sin for life.

The Bible may be silent on abuse being a reason for divorce, but it is obvious about what God expects a marriage to look like (Ephesians 5:22-33). Abuse is contrary to everything godly. Physical violence against a spouse is immoral and should not be tolerated by anyone. There is nothing unbiblical about separating from an abuser; in fact, it is morally right to protect oneself and one’s children. God loves His children, including this woman, and He would not want her to remain in such a situation. I strongly urge you to pray for her and her child, and for the relationship should you decide to go forward.
If you’re seriously questioning it this hard, dump her. Give her room to find someone who’s not going to act like dating her is a charity service.
good answer. thank you
Yeah just skip it. She deserves better than a fool who thinks their "god" would condemn that
