Do you think some people that look lucky are not lucky, just hard working?

I have a cousin who told his daughter he has a genius a I. Q. and his parents were not visibly religious, but when my cousin believed he did poorly on his university entrance exams in China, he was so miserable, he went ten days with out food. How does a guy that has never read a religious book know to fast and pray when he wants God to grant him his request? A Jewish Rabbi on you tube said even non believers believe in God, they just call it conscience or inner voice or karma or intuition or wisdom instead of God.

He probably wasn't fasting because he wants god to grant his request, he was probably doing it because he was depressed, felt like a failure and didn't have an appetite.

Hard work is generally equal to luck excluding pure events of chance

I've found plenty of cheap sometimes even free gold and silver because I know how to identify the stuff
