I've been invited to an LDS church. Have you ever gone/what to expect?

(Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints) I think it's part of Mormonism of Christianity, but I'm not entirely sure to be honest.

The two men were wearing dress clothes and ties, so I assume I should wear something similarly formal when I visit, but besides that I don't know what to expect. I can't go this Sunday anyway, but I'm curious and want to visit sometime later this month.

Has anyone visited or attended an LDS church before? What was your experience like? Is there anything important they may have forgotten to mention (or that I should have asked)?

I've been to Hindu temple, Buddhist monasteries, Jewish temples, mosques, ethical humanist congregation, Parsi tower of silence & temple, sikh temple, Christian convents, abbeys, cathedrals, seminary school, monasteries, Shinto shrine and lots more! So much to learn about my fellow humans!!

No, I have only heard about it. You should check it out for yourself and see if you like it. You can make your decision to stay or leave from there.
