A group of a Jewish men shared a taxi with a stranger while travelling home from a Yeshiva in Israel. They shared the taxi in New York to save money on travel costs. The taxi driver accidentally gave them the strangers bag and drove off before they could explain it was not theirs.
The bag contained $100,000 worth of diamonds. They located the owner through a phone number inside the bag and the owner offered them a $3,000 cash prize for their honesty, but all the Yeshiva members rejected the money.
When the newspaper decided to publish the story about the honest Jewish boys, none of the Jewish taxi guests shared their names with the newspaper because they wanted their good deed to be anonymous.
It’s possible people like that are successful, because their religion is real.
They are not people you can buy off with money.
