What do you think of this conclusion I came to about social status and friendship?

I find that the snobbiest people have the dumbest, poorest, sickest, and meanest friends. While the open minded and inclusive people have the most intelligent, most wealthy, most healthy and nicest friends.

I cannot think of a single religious snob that improved their social life by being snobby but I can think of many religiously inclusive and humble people who improved their social lives by being welcoming, friendly and loving towards others.

For example, I was on a cruise ship and an elderly man with an annoying speaking habit, turned out to be the snobbiest person I had ever met in another country and he was also the most socially unsavoury and annoying to be around too before I learned his personality was just as bad as his annoying mannerisms.

The bible says those who act like others are important will be made important themselves and those who act like others are worthless will be made worthless themselves.

I actually think you’re onto something. Social snobbery doesn’t attract real strength or value — it just builds echo chambers. People who are humble, kind, and open tend to form deeper, more nourishing connections. It’s not about being “above” anyone — it’s about being *with* people. And that alone raises the whole energy of a circle. Snobs might feel exclusive, but they often end up isolated. There’s a big difference between status and *substance*.
