Some fake optimists propagate the idea god's love is the source of goodness. Of course from psychological aspect existing in an universe where our existence means practically nothing and is universally pointless would be discouraging to live and to procreate. Therefore it's believing in god's love is some kind of defense mechanic.
The opposite way of thinking is considered evil and destructive, because non existing is considered evil in our prehistoric instinct to last as long as possible. Ergo: Existing = good, non existing = evil.
Now comes stripping of the winning part. Even if we could exist 120 years or even 1000 years. Those time spans are in cosmic time dimension nano seconds. Ergo: the good lasts nano seconds the evil last an eternity. It's a win for the evil.

Of course universe doesn't care what is for us good or evil. Its entropy and chaos aren't affected by our feelings and our perception.

Love always "wins" 'cuz it is the highest vibration. It will end up on top even from a scientific view point. And you're right. The universe doesn't care personally.
