Why do people say that Donald Trump represents Christian or Jewish values?

The Jewish bible says to love outsiders because you were outsiders.

The Bible says to take care of the poor and not oppress them.

The bible says all human beings of all races and cultures are created in the image of God and that murder for racial or cultural reasons is a capital offense.

The bible says God only rewards your religion if you practice your religion for the right motives and those with good motives can be adopted into the family of God, regardless of their genetic or family background.

The bible says the divine rainbow protects you from the flood, meaning, God guards your peace, when you respect the racial, cultural, behavioural, geographic, and social diversity around you, and God will rob you of peace after death, if you offend and persecute the outsider or the God loving sinner.

The bible says privacy and freedom of choice is sacred and we must respect it.

If you want my honest opinion.. it’s because the world is a battlefield where evil has the upper hand by twisting and turning things to its advantage. What you wrote about the Bible is in fact true. Also in many other areas of the Bible you’ll read where God warns us of how the Evil works. Because trump has a negative reflection, and what he does isn’t showing what you speak of you’ll notice they’ll make that connection to God. Because Evil dresses in sheep’s clothing. It reminds me of a movie I watched a long time ago. I think it was called “Hidalgo”. You’ll notice that the men in the movie start to call her the “Christian” lady, after she sleeps with the man. She is not referred to that prior to her having laid down with him. But after that moment in the movie, she is then labeled as such. To me that was a prime example of how evil will twist, deceive, misguide you into thinking or believing that what is said out of the mouth of others is true especially when it comes to referencing “Christian”. And considering throughout history, that word, in other forms, has been used to control, condemn, exile, dictate, repress many people. But those who know, who actually have read the texts and understood what they meant, will see through the deception and continue to live their life choosing to be good, choosing acceptance, forgiveness, love, peace, joy when it is not easy, convenient, or popular. The greatest gift, is that of love, unconditional love.

By claiming he represents Christian values Trump knew he could rely on their support no matter how he behaved. If anything he knew his actions would set Christian standards, effectively making him the equivalent of a pope. Trump isn't aligning with Christian values, he's dictating what they should be.
