I strongly support happiness, love, productivity, hard work, curiosity, beauty, humour and compassion. Do these things need a religous base?

I think we can love each other and try to be happy as we try to make people happy. I love knowledge and being curious or striving so hard to accomplish something. And i am not a nihilist. These are the things i value. Do i need a religious justificator for them?

In truth science should be studying both the material and immaterial. Then you won't need religion.

You either acknowledge that living beings are not merely calculations made up of matter, or you treat all living beings as desd beings and it leads you down the path of selfishness and spiritual death.

At which point happiness, love, and all the good shit is something you crave and never find because you're looking in the wrong place.

And no, your secular beliefs do not require religious justification to exist

Absolutely yes. You heard about those in your society where new testament gave value to those. Each of those is "more important than reading a book" due to religion influence.

Similarly we don't want to get murdered so we feel murder is wrong but the SEVERITY of murder is due to religion teaching life is important.
