It is widely known that Islam is perhaps the most committed to peace of all religions. What is special about Islam that makes it this way?

I prefer my own religion and outside religious interests over the integration of Islam into my life, not mocking Islam or Muslims in any way but it is not my religious preference, and I have no personal interest in Islam nor do I have any desire to study Islam.

nah. egypt was not peaceful it made war for decades until israel bribed it with land.
jordan made war for decades until israel bribed it with water.
iraq vs kuwait 1990

syria civil war and also isi' or isis'.
probably more.
luckily most muslims submit to local law but to quote a liberal 'it is inevitable at least one will be violent".
