It depends on the person. I know people who will reject nice people if the nice person is neither popular nor rich. I was beautiful and kind in high school but was bullied and made fun of because I had low confidence due to being abused by my mother, and since I was bullied, a lot of people who liked me would not accept me as a friend, because of my reputation as the one that the other kids made fun of and looked down on.
