According to Islam, even if a person commits all major sins and never performs any acts of worship, as long as they have even a mustard seed’s worth of faith in their heart, their ultimate destination will definitely be Paradise, where they will remain forever. I have a feeling that such is not actually the case. Even if it is though, it doesn't provide much incentive for one to become Muslim, let alone be a good Muslim (whatever that means).

This also sounds like the error within Christianity of "sola fide", or the belief that all you need to do to be saved is to have faith.
