There is this guy that I work with. We are a pretty small department and he’s lovely to everyone so it would be difficult to see if he was into me.

We have a lot of banter and get along really well. He will do silly stuff to get my attention such as grabbing my hair clip, touching my keyboard etc.

We also make a lot of eye contact and I have caught him staring at me. On a night out, when he’s had a drink, he will hug me endlessly but won’t touch me at work.

But, this is where I have no idea, he will make jokes/comments that make it sound like he finds me hideous. He said about going for a nap, and I said “I’d like to go too”. Straight away he said “separate beds!”

And then the other day I made a joke about being into men with beards, to which he replied “does anyone have a razor?”

But he has made jokes about me being crap at my job. When I’ve called him out on it he will say he thinks I’m amazing at my job. So I don’t know if he’s disguising the fact that he is into me.

• He might catch feelings for you, and if you leave him he might sabotage you

• there's a tiny chance this individual could potentially become your future husband, soul-mate, and father to your children.

• It will be such an amazing experience for a while , and can completely obliterate any boredom in your life and/or depression.
• Smashing the Hot Guy at work. Could be a once in your lifetime experience. Never again to occur.
