I’m 29 and I’ve never dated, it seems like its just gonna be really hard at this point because not many girls in my age group will want to be with someone who has no experience. Most of them have experience and it seems like they would prefer an experienced partner (both in relationships and sex) than someone who has little to no experience with any of it. I feel like a lot of guys who try to start dating for the first time at an older age like mine are just met with nonstop rejection because no one is willing to give an inexperienced guy a chance.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten much more careful at mentioning sex to a girl on a dating app. It’s can be entertaining conversation. But even if she responds positively I find it lowers the chance of meeting up. There are a few rare situations when a girl wants a quick fling. But unless she thinks I am an 8 or higher that’s unlikely nowadays.

Anyway I am not “all about sex”. I do not mind chatting someone up. But sex is part of it. No man is going to be on a dating app looking for a platonic relationship.

My girlfriend is still in high school but she is 18. She is a cheerleader and I give her rides to practice and I already told her I would give her ride to school and pick her up from school because it works out with my work schedule.

She has not brought up our age difference or anything. Our relationship goes on normally. Nobody questions it.
