there's this guy I've been talking to since I was in the hospital in December, which is where we met. Or so I thought. But then once I got home, he's been super aggressive with the texts, always asking how I am, and saying things like "I miss you", which is odd considering he barely knows me, and "I want to "see you again"/when can I see you again. My question is, what sounds more "friendshippy" vs which sounds more "Lets date/bang!", "I miss you/I want to see you again" vs "I want to hang out/Let's hang out!"? Is saying he misses me when we only hung out for like a week in person even normal? Or am I completely overthinking everything? If you can, please explain your answer. Also, not sure if this makes a difference but he's liberal. As well, I definitely do not want more than friendship.

I’ve known someone for a long time. He’s intelligent, funny, has depth… but opening up has always been a slower process for him. It’s something that unfolds over time…. Like a really long time. We started out as just friends and then we decided to try something more…

And then there’s someone I met more recently…

We could barely communicate at first because of the language barrier lol, but somehow we kept gravitating back to each other… laughing, losing track of what we were doing like it just flowed naturally. I actually posted about him some months ago and you guys were sharing with me how you’ve dated someone who spoke another language primarily.

What stood out to me though… was the effort. And even emotionally… he didn’t rush it, but he didn’t avoid it either.

He told me:

“De nada, con gusto… es bueno saber un poco y te diré poco a poco.” (I’ll tell you more little by little.) …And he did.

He’s also the guy I was talking about when I posted about going on a date.. and asking you guys whats a good first date… anyway..

That made me question something… because I feel like we tend to assume history means more.

But what if someone new is showing you more intention?

So a good friend of mine assigned me as godmother to her younger daughter…. and I baptized her as Greek Orthodox……my boyfriend came to the ceremony and he has chipped in for gifts and made the effort to drive up to her place…. he’s always caring and asking about her as well….

So last weekend my friend snapped at my boyfriend and told him she gets very ticked off when he doesn’t ask about both her daughters and that he’s not the godfather and not even Christian ( he’s Jewish)

Was this rude of my friend?
My boyfriend is very offended with her…. to the post where he’s wanting N apology otherwise he’s done with her…. what should I do? How can I address this to my friend without hurting her?
