I notice that a lot of women here on GAG here flat out admit they look down on single fathers and hate the idea that a man already has a kid with another woman before them and assume its always entirely the man's fault for being a single father, yet these same women get pissy and personally offended when men share mutual feelings toward single mothers. Hypocritical double standard much?

I always like to say that a single mom to a man is about attractive as a homeless guy is to a woman. And if women would listen rather than just reacting with anger they'd understand why!

A homeless guy is a gamble! He might be a good guy but something put him in that position. Same as a single mom. She's a gamble. Something put her in that position. And here's where women will make excuses such as He left her, he knocked her up and dumped her. He was abusive. Etc. What do all these cases have in common? HER. She CHOSE this "wonderful" man. In short if a woman is a single mom, it's indicative of her judgement. Why would a guy want to be with a woman who makes bad choices? Would a woman want to be with a guy who makes bad judgements? No!

To make things worse most guys are smart enough to realize in many of those cases the biological father is never out of the picture. How would you women feel about a guys ex always being in the picture... yeah I thought so!

And I haven't even mentioned the financial aspect. It has been estimated that each child is a cost of 160,000 USD (Let's not quibble on the number).

The point is if she had 3 kids you're already in the hole for a half million. Now ask each woman if they want to take a half million dollar gamble on a guy they choose. I rest my case!

When this question is posed, the majority of women who support abortion rights will respond with something like "men already have a choice... they can choose not to have sex". Well the obvious fact is that women have that exact same choice, but when they make a mistake and get pregnant they can choose abortion to opt out of being a parent. And that is exactly why the vast majority of abortions happen.

The whole "it's my body, my choice" thing seems more like an excuse to allow women to control everything related to reproduction when you consider why women actually choose to have abortions. They are choosing not to be a parent for exactly the same reasons why men would like to choose not to be a parent when they made exactly the same mistake.

There would of course have to be some strict requirements if we made "paper abortions" legal. A man would have to let the pregnant woman know of his choice early enough in the pregnancy that she can make an informed choice about whether she wants to abort or continue with the pregnancy knowing she will be a single mother without financial support from the father. The woman would need to notify the man of the pregnancy early enough to make that choice in time to meet the requirement. If she doesn't, she forfeits her right to child support. The man would have to give up the right to be a part of the child's life.

So, if women can choose to have an abortion simply because they made a mistake and are not ready or willing to become a parent, shouldn't men have a similar option? It seems hypocritical to argue otherwise.
