Here’s the situation.

my little brother and I both need transportation to work, neither of us have our own car.
My mom has an SUV, she will give me the keys before she hands him the keys, Here’s why:

• I pay her.
Each time I get paid, she gets a piece of it.
He lends her money that she has to pay back.

• I’m more independent.
She has to take him to work, I’ve been driving longer, I can get there myself.
He can only drive short distances..

•Our reasons for working
I work to support the household & Save for my future, He works to buy weed because he’s an extreme pothead. & He only sees to himself.

•Our attitudes
I’m very respectful to my mom, she’s my best friend, we do argue, but I don’t disrespect her.

He’s extremely disrespectful.
She says when she drives him to work he doesn’t speak at all. He talks back. He yells at her, Slams doors, She’s admitted she wants him gone. She said she can’t deal with him. We’re polar opposites.

People may see it as unfair because he’s not her biological son, I am her biological son.
From the outside in, it looks like she’s playing favorites
