I feel like I have backslided badly. Of course, this most certainly isn't the first time. I have built myself up numerous times to be knocked down to my knees.

More concerning, this time I am engaged to be married.

I have a multitude of different mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. I have been hospitalized involuntarily countless times. Although I am socio-emotionally retarded, I am very knowledgeable, skilled, and talented in a wide array of career-oriented hard skills. From previous healthcare experience to having a strong software developer skillset, I feel I am capable of making a difference and being successful. At 30, I can say I have both saved lives and worked on projects for multi-billion dollar companies. That is not just a measly milestone.

As it stands today, I am broke, rely on the benevolence of others, live at home, and sit alone at the house in self-pity. My fiance hasn't moved in with me yet full time.

My doctor has referred me to a specialized medical facility due to being such a complicated case. I am awaiting a call.

Let’s say a guy is 27 and never had a girlfriend because he’s mainly focused on his career, hobbies and passions. Is that unattractive. Do women rather men that have had relationships

Hello all.

I'm currently in my late 20s but there is a reason why I asked this question. I'm an aspiring animator in a third world country. Here there is not much of an industry for animation and hence the best option for me is to move to a developed country for better career and livelihood.

As it's difficult to get a direct job offer from where I am, one option for me is to pursue a degree in animation from the country of my choice. But the problem is most animation schools like Sheridan in Canada and The Animation workshop in Denmark are known for their 4 years bachelors program. Gobelins Paris is one of the few places where there is a reputed 2 years master degree in animation.

As I plan to work in my home country for a few years before I study abroad, I'll be in my early to mid 30s when I do plan to move overseas for studying. Hence will this be too late age wise to do a 4 years degree?

Thoughts? Anyone on a similer boat as me?

So women basically now do everything men do like dedicate their life to work. They’re basically men. Birth rates are collapsing and relationships don’t work.

Now you can be a man with everything possibly going for you - and still feel unattractive/unsuccessful with women how is that fair? You do everything right.

If you look at statistics men are failing in every sector academics/career/dating - every metric. Because we live in a society that is just setup for men to fail and struggle and not escape and succeed. Like if I was the average guy is there any point in trying/fighting for anything in life? All the cards are against us, everything we want and feel is rejected and demonised.

I feel like men want women way more? I’m not sure but it just seems women don’t care about dating or guys much because they have careers/money now so men are useless to them. Society literally destroyed women 🫤or they’ll have insane expectations like him being super hot or ultra successful.

Obama administration kicked off the effort to make disposable junk, in effort to recover from the "great recession". It's one of the most environmentally disasterous policies in the planets history as it drove the consumption of junk products from asia into the landfills, through the debt ridden hands of USA.

Should Trump end this policy, should we go back to "make quality last"?

I recently heard the story from a leader saying when he grew up, there was one towel and one bar of soap and everyone shared it. 1968 Volkswagen Beetles still run... 2007 Nissan Muran's are in the garbage dump. We could go back to quality, at the cost of abundance. It be easier on the planet, harder on careers/jobs.
