I’m 41 and I’m still in excellent shape. Reason being I exercise daily and I usually stick to a very healthy diet.

Anyway I became more self conscious about not showing my body off in pics or in public by my mid 30s. I don’t really feel comfortable going shirtless even at a beach/pool.

I do have one shirtless pic showing my abs off but it’s never something I will show a woman right away. I usually will show it once if she shows me a few suggestive pics (I don’t like nudes tbh but it’s nice to see what kind of body she has). Definitely not something I keep on social media though

Anyway I am well aware of the “creep” element guys my age have to watch out for. We got a lot less leeway vs guys in their early 20s on all of this.

But at the same time I’m wondering if I’m sometimes shortchanging myself by keeping an attractive asset I still have hidden. Is there a way to let a woman know about this without looking immature/creepy?

And yes I am well aware how women care about personality, drive, humor, money etc. Don’t need a lecture of on that. But this is one thing that can make me go from a 7 to an 8 on a pure physical attraction scale. But if done wrong it can look very bad.

Based on appearance, you might think fruit bats are the obvious answer. But personality wise it's a different story. If you have cockatiels, you know what I'm talking about. If not

Cockatiels and dogs:

-Are uber friendly

-Have horrible separation anxiety

-Love scratches behind the ear

-Will scream/bark for the same reason

-Run/fly around like crazy when they're excited

-Nuzzle to show affection

-Will rest their head on your lap/tuck it under your chin

-Always want whatever you're eating

-Wil chew on everything

I already know the guys are gonna think "women don't know what they want", and "they'll say gentlemen, but would rather f*ck the bad boy" etc. I don't know whether all that is true, all I can ask of you ladies is to truly be objective and honest with yourselves when answering this question.

Also assume that it's exactly the same guy in terms of looks, but the two just have the two personalities outlined in the poll.

The story is quite big but I'll try my best to sum it up in just a few lines. Hope you guys can understand.
So there's this woman (let's name her Lilly) who is actually my next door neighbor. She's actually 7 years older than me, lol and she also got a brother who's the same age as me. So talking about Lilly. She's a beautiful woman with a killer smile and a fantastic personality. But like everyone else, she also got her own demons and fair share of past traumas. Even though she struggles with anxiety, adhd and other issues, she's the most resilient and determined woman I've ever seen. A true fighter! She's ambitious, driven and passionate about her work and... Yea... I could actually go on and on but... let's just get to the story.
So around this time last year, we started talking through insta. I mean... I always saw as a sister only tbh. So whenever I'd find some funny reels, I'd send it to her along with my own sister who is actually 10 years older than and also a really good friend of Lilly. Time passed by... sending reels and good night messages kinda became a tradition between us. We bonded really quickly and like she'd say... We vibed! I told myself that I think I got a best friend with whom I can share anything. And she also shared some of her biggest secrets with me too. I was slowly falling for her without even realizing that myself cos in my head I've always limited our relationship to just "friends". Long story short, we both fell in love with each other. We did go through an on and off phase in between cos we didn't want anyone to know about us especially our family members cos we come from different religious and cultural backgrounds plus, the age gap. I know it's 21st century and we should have an open mind and all but we r just afraid of losing our loved ones. So we mutually decided to end it cos it was hurting both of us and now after she's gone, there's not a single day I don't miss her and cry. And it's slowly killing me from inside. I can't...
