Can People Fight Over Non Attractive People For Dating?

a couple of years ago I had a good friend on Instagram. she was with me in second grade, we went to same school and via same transportation mode. anyway, after she moved away to another country, she claimed 8 boys were fighting over to win her affection.

not to be shallow here, but this only happens to hot people. I won't call her ugly, as puberty improves looks. but she was definitely not deemed as attractive. ik foreign guys love brown girls or Asian girls, but she was white and she didn't have cute features... so my question is, do people really fight over average people? personality wise, she wasn't that great either. so i don't get it.

no hate towards her. we're no longer friends but i would wish her all kinds of happiness, the next time i hear from her.

there is always SOMETHING a girl offers to get guy's attention. so yes. facial beauty isn't everything. sometimes it can be a perceived value. if a girl projects the idea that sex is a real possibility with little effort- then a lot of guys are going to be fighting over her. unless she goes to far, then guys will simply play golf and shake hands while they wait their turn.

guys like a healthy amount of competition. they like to feel like they won. but only if the prize is worth having. they don't like to fight tooth and nail over the town's beat up, rusty public bicycle laying on the street corner.

most guys will simply ghost away if they get a hint that a girl is entertaining other guys. and if they don't care, then they aren't the type of guys you really want to hitch your wagon to. a man of high value doesn't throw his worth away- he knows his worth and cultivates it. it's what makes him high value in the first place. and men who know how to grow wealth know you have to cut losses at the first sign of trouble and move to greener pastures. too much investment without payoff can ruin a thing.

take buffalo wild wings for example. it's a great- neutral- example. it used to be a GREAT place to go get boneless wings for 20 cents a piece and some nacho chips, etc. but once it started to become super popular, investors came in and speculated the stock price to the stars, everyone trying to get a piece.

now look at it. it's practically a ghost town on any night except cheap wing night. and even cheap wing night is a joke. you can literally go get a giant porterhouse steak at any steak house for the same price as a night a BDUB's and have leftovers. why? because in response to the stock price being over-valued, the company was forced to try any tactic they could to become more profitable, which ultimately resulted in higher food prices. prices that the general public no longer consider to be fair.

now why type of people do you see there? drunk idiots with more money than brains shouting at sports games. all the classy family diners are gone because they can get chicken nuggets cheaper at mcdonald's for their kids.

i know my opinion is long but the point is, that selling yourself is a delicate balance. a woman should not be excited about having men fighting over her, nor should she envy when other women have men fighting over them. it may be exciting at first, but it will ultimately backfire and turn to shit.

Before I grew up to the point where I developed strong interest in women, I witnessed some women who had many men fighting over her. I actually remember one specifically. She was a neighbour.

If there is something I learnt quite early on, men tend to fight over women for reasons other than their beauty. And the reasons don't have to be good either.

If what she is telling you is true, then it says something about what she has become as opposed to her being attractive.

Don't forget, some women are very attractive but you will never see or hear of men fighting over her.

So I would say it says a lot about her as opposed to whether she is attractive or not.

It has usually got to do with what the girl/woman is doing. She is dealing with multiple men simultaneously and some how they realised that they are not the only one in pursuit. When men are prepared to fight over a woman, it usually comes from an egotistical view point. The woman becomes a trophy and the men compete. Unfortunately just because a man is prepared to fight for a woman doesn't mean she really wants the woman. It is the idea of being the one that got her that becomes more important at that point. I am sure you have heard the term Alpha man. Winning over a woman makes some guys feel like they are so called alpha. Whether the intentions are good or not, that is the whole idea.

2) it's not normal yes. However, I've noticed that some women and some men just have that "X" factor that draws the opposite sex like honey. Maybe it's the way they move and express themselves themselves, maybe something hormonal.
I knew a woman like that, she could get guys (and some girls) into a frenzy. She wasn't particularly attractive and could be described as plain in objective terms, but somehow she always had people buzzing around her.

Well that's the thing, attractiveness is extremely subjective. It's very possible fornone person or a group of people to find someone unattractive and yet there'll be someone who thinks the person in question is super hot.

Beauty is 100% subjective. Just because you are aesthetically pleasing to look at doesn’t mean you are beautiful to someone. Beauty for most people goes beyond looks. Especially when you get to know them. But I’ve past many woman that mainstream would render as “beautiful” that were not that beautiful to me. Mostly because 80% of her face was makeup, and surgery, tits and ass were fake.. that’s not beautiful.
