Background

A few people in my closer relative are diagnosed with personality disorders that are connected to lack of empathy. So now keep that in mind.

My morals:

I strongly believe hurting others is wrong. And I am for punnishing people who do that. I do not believe people change. And I have no empathy for people who do evil actions even if they are trying to change. That's why I'm afraid if I have kids I'd murder them or something if they did something really wrong..

With that being said I only judge people for their actions the same I would judge cancer. I see no difference in a grown person raping a child being killed and someone killing cancer.. they are both alive stuff that do harm.

My traits:

I never felt like I was human.. I mean I feel more like I'm just taking space in a room.. like a gas. I never felt the need to have a partner because I can always hire a cleaner/chef etc.. I believe human kind are evil as a base and everyone are secretly out to get me in the end.

I tend to laugh if someone dies.. in joyful way. Although I cognitivly understand it's horrible and I cognitivly feel bad for that person and their family I never expeience it emotionally. Same way I can be cognitivly stressed but not emotionally..

I can turn on and off my empathy however I want.. and whenever I want. If I focus on my cognitive empathy enough my emotional empathy can grow..

Also one of my parents told me as a toddler I would never cry when they left for work... I don't know if that means anything.

I think I have a very strong cognitive empathy (more than the avarage person) but almost no emotional empathy.. unless I turn it on.

I do want to meet the one for me and have kids in the future (problaby). I dont really see the point of life other than success and proving people wrong. That's why I think I be the type to end it all once I reach what I want. But I'm not depressed I just see everything neutral..

My honest opinion? See a therapist and have them psychological evaluate you properly. It might take one session or a few before they get their assessment.


Do I? A ransom dude on the internet think you’re a psychopath? Uhh I think there are some factors that match up with some of the traits but I don’t think it’s that simple to label someone with a disorder/ mental condition based on information the person presents. There are the little details you can’t type that would give more of a clear indication into your psyche. I’m not a licensed expert so my assumption is dog shit at best

You sound a bit like Patrick Bateman. Anyways the lack of empathy is not totally weird although the rape comparison is strange. As far as kids though they have their own development but major contributing factors are you and the family home and values you display. Kids 100% can change, grown men and women can too although it is much harder and trust is obviously hard to build up at that point. I agree with some of the others though that you should see a therapist.

I'm not afraid of their judgement its just they are usually very dumb. at least here. Many can't even explain why they diagnose the way they do. Many here dont even know what some diagnoses stunds for.

And if I do get diagnosed. Whats the point? Its not gonna change anything. Its not like they actually help people. Maybe in other countries but not here

Potentially your mindset, alternative views when spoken in a coherent well thought productive argument can be greatly altering for perspective. To my knowledge (I may be wrong) therapists can and will diagnose you. They will then refer you to the psychologist to get a prescription for medication. It seems we grew up in 2 very different places of medical care

It's not a contradiction because OP never stated she was a good person. If anything, she probably knows she isn't a good person. A criminal that hurts criminals isn't a good person, but they're not a BAD person either. Although morality is fully subjective, so I guess none of it matters anyway.

Psychopath is an actual psychological medical term. Schizophrenia is seeing things and hearing voices that aren't actually there. Someone who is schizophrenic might not be a Psychopath and someone who is a Psychopath might not be schizophrenic
