I’ve only been in this situation twice in my life and both were my happenstance. I didn’t try to set it up but rather coincidentally more than one woman liked me and they were fighting with each other over it.

I’ve been the opposite situation before and it really sucked. I have “won” a few but also “lost” a few. When I won it was because I was “sorta” attracted to the girl but almost always lost when I really liked the girl. Many women tend to be more attracted to the guy who is less interested in them

I am also not the type that plays dirty by throwing other guys under the bus. Reason being is I get turned off if another girl trash talks the other girl who was interested in me.

Some people think that is the way to go and don’t care. But I rather I want the girl to make a clear conscious decision on who to go with.

But I noticed a lot of women really get off on this love triangle bullshit. Some of them intentionally set it up. They don’t look at the long term consequences. They think the guy they reject will be just be happy and fine with a friendzone when it’s said and done. There is no medal or prize for second place in this game though. No other way around it. The rejected guy just needs to self respect himself and cut his losses. Disappear. But he takes a lot of pain in the process.

So, I'm talking with a woman who I seem to be on the same page with about so many things. Our personalities, what brings us peace, what we're looking for, whether to have kids, etc.; we agree on lots of important things. I enjoy talking with her a great deal. She is my dream girl in so many ways. We agree on so much that I'm actually somewhat concerned that she might just be telling me what she thinks I want to hear.

One thing we don't agree about though, is pets. She's told me that she wants a lot of fur babies. She wants 2 purebred dogs, an exotic cat, and 2 exotic birds. She's listed particular species, but I don't want to include those to keep things somewhat private if she were to read this.

She doesn't have much experience with pet ownership, so I'm concerned that she'll buy these animals (which cost a fair bit of money) and then either lose interest in them or the responsibility of taking care of them will be passed on to me.

I don't want to be hyperbolic, but I feel like her wanting a lot of pets might be a bit of a redflag to me. Am I being stupid or is this a legitimate concern?

Growing up, I was a major outcast and suffered with a lot of severe mental health issues. I had interests that were obsessive and unusual, such as an interest in fire alarms, phone systems, and intercoms. I missed a lot of school due to mental health reasons that required hospitalization and residential treatment. I hardly fit in with anyone at school, and girls especially didn't pay any attention to me. I was also (and still am) short in height at 5'6". I missed a lot of developmental milestones that I reap today.

I was never athletic in school. I was not involved in sports really. I was, however, involved in boy scouts up to age 16 and transitioned into the fire explorer programs.

Socially, I have always struggled. I was hoping adulthood would be better, but it turned out to be worse and a nightmare.

I am 27, almost 28, and I never had a real girlfriend. My absolute biggest regret that kills me to this day is not experiencing young romance. I so wish I was able to form those memories with a girl when I was young who was around my age.

It wasn't until I was around 19 when I had my first kiss with this girl I found repulsive to me. I tried dating her, but it just didn't feel right. She just was not attractive to me.

Also, there was this girl named Izzy that was around 15 when I was 18. Although we cuddled and I kissed her, she became a transgender man and resents me. There is no going back there.

When I was 20, I lost my virginity to another 16 year old girl during a weekend fling. She did not want anything to do with me romantically after that. In fact, I was convicted of stalking because of her (long story).

After that, all I have had is online things with girls where they rejected me upon meeting me in person because I was unattractive to them.

I haven't touched a girl in 7 years. Meanwhile, all my peers and former friends I have known are married and have kids.

I want a woman without a romantic past where we can be each other's first loves.
