Is the belief or ideals of Monogamy inherently toxic?

For example Hollywood ideals we have come to know such as true love and soulmates demand both partners to be perfect for the entire marriage or relationship! Or otherwise it was never true love!

When we all know that human beings are inherently imperfect creatures, make lots of mistakes, and grow and change as person over time including our interests and dislikes.

Jealousy, suspicion, and mistrust is a huge part of monogamy! even though they will never admit it they will always have some doubt in the back of their heads. Why were they nice to x person or say x to that person or act in x way.

There are so many stipulation to marriage such as limiting interactions with the opposite sex, obligatory huge expensive weddings, obligatory expensive wedding ring, obligatory children, etc. etc.

If by some chance you are both miserable, divorce is a taboo and frowned upon and you are forced to stay with a person you hate for the rest of your life! And if you do get a divorce both partners fight tooth and nail to get as much from the other as possible and get control of the kids. etc. etc.

What do you guys think? Is it fair to trap a person to be with you for your entire life for your own selfish desires, beliefs, or insecurities?

What is wrong with loving every human being instead of being forced to just be with one for your entire life?

One House member texted his wife what he feared was a final goodbye. One recalled the look of pure hatred in the attackers’ eyes. Another would never forget the whine of a hundred gas masks, all operating at once.

For some House Democrats who were in the U. S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and experienced the insurrection from a unique vantage point — being the target of the attack — those were the memories that stood out shortly afterward.

Prior to Jan. 6, the U. S. Capitol had not been sacked since the War of 1812. But on that day, a pro-Donald Trump mob, many of whom marched to the Capitol directly from his speech urging them to “fight like hell,” clashed with police, broke into the building, and chased lawmakers and then-Vice President Mike Pence into hiding. The riot lasted for hours, with the mob arriving at the Capitol shortly before 1 p. m. and police clearing the building around 6 p. m. Five people died.

While the attack inspired bipartisan revulsion at the time, that consensus has eroded ahead of its three-year anniversary Saturday. Now, some on the right say too much has been made of the violence, pointing to protesters who walked into the Capitol well after the first groups of attackers.

Usyk takes boxing very seriously, and he’s highly skilled, in my opinion. He’s smaller than most heavyweights and not as strong as them either, so he has to be skilled.

He dominated the cruiserweight division with that very skill that he may use to beat Fury. If he defeats Fury, it will show other heavyweights that you don’t play boxing; you can't just not take it seriously, being the world champion, that is. Having exhibitions that don't matter to a person who’s never boxed, getting knocked down by them, and having most fans say you lost.

If Usyk takes Fury’s belt, then the division will become much more competitive. I don’t expect Usyk to run from fights. I expect him to fight every worthy challenger and for the division to become a lot better. Highly skilled fighters battling for the belts, not giants using their size and strength alone to win.
