So these things happened all over the course of a few months. My ex boyfriend (we'll call him E) has a friend, well call him X. They haven't been friends for very long, but I want to say I'm not trying to DO anything with X.
One of the first times we hung out as a group X hugged me and asked me what perfume I was wearing, and said he'd buy it for a girl he'd potentially like. he's told me I look cute more than once. Every time he sees me he ends up standing or sitting close to me. E even pointed it out once. He hugs me everytime he sees me, but he hugs everyone. X has laid his head down on my lap a few times, when I was laying on my friends bed X would lean on my legs to prop himself up. I laid on his lap once back but it resulted in a accidental nip slip. He touches me a lot, like brushing my arm or hand, and resting on my legs, getting thing out of my hair, once I had something on my inner thigh and he brushed it off. He bought me drinks for my bday a while back, I remember that night he was tipsy and gave me a long hug. He asked for my number multiple times. X would tease me scrolling my phone to make me lose my place, or bothering me until I say the magic word. He's called me "good weird" before. Also sometimes in a group he'll end up just talking to me. E has said that he thinks X is into me because he always asks about me. E has said this exactly "if I were insecure the things he does with you would upset me". E has said once before that X treats me differently than other girls he's seen him around. X always talks about other girls he's into. And on social media he's shown me girls he likes, but they do resemble me a lot. I'm not sure if that's on purpose. X recently got a new girlfriend, I haven't met her but she lives like 2 hours away. I saw X like 2 days ago and even though he has a girlfriend now he still did all those things. Like touching/laying on me, getting things out of my hair and he randomly started taking pictures of me.

27F, I hate to describe this as daddy issues. For the most part, my dad and I have gotten along. My parents divorced when I was 8, after that he started to take his frustrations out on me (mom cheated). At around 23 I got tired of it, I moved out of state to live w my gma at 13 but we talked over phone. I pretty much said fuck him and didn’t talk to him for three years. My parents are still good friends, my mom has been with the same guy and my dad is single I think.

For over a year, my dad and I rekindled. He seemed to change with me, I think he knows I’m not taking that anymore and we never argue. But I’m irritated when he calls too often. My mom can call me whenever (I have resentment towards her too) and I have no prob. My dad calls too frequently (more than once a week) and I get irritated.

He just annoys me, he asks me the same questions frequently and I put him in his place lol. I know he remembers, my mom blames it on him not knowing what to say to me. My dad doesn’t have a good relationship with his family, everyone always makes the excuse that I’m all he has. My moms family is shit too but I guess she has a boyfriend and 2 other kids.

What frustrates me is that really isn’t my fault, I always think what if I was married or had kids. I would have to coddle and make time for my dad then too? I’m single, no friends and don’t feel like I need to talk to my parents that often.

TL;DR: am I being too harsh with my dads need to talk with me often?

Even if you don't have the correct reproductive organs to give birth... If you COULD, what would you choose?

5 weeks ago, I gave birth to my first child, a son I named Merlin, & did it natural.
My preferred birth plan was to go natural, have a water birth & only have an episiotomy if the doctor recommended it.
Well, I got to do it natural, but the hospital I was at didn't have birthing tubs, but I had very supportive nurses on duty & my doctor told me he was going to do the episiotomy after my son's head wouldn't rip me after being RIGHT THERE for 2 contractions.
If I'm being honest, I caved once the third contraction occurred & asked for an epidural. The nurse told me that they would bring the specialist to the room, but they couldn't promise that I would be able to get the medication. I didn't end up getting the epidural, my son was practically out of me when the specialist arrived.
I'm very happy, now that it's over, that my son was moving so quickly that I couldn't get the epidural. I had completed my birth plan, partially, as I intended. I was proud of myself & couldnt believe how AMAZING I felt after it was all said & done.
I couldn't, & still can't, believe I had pushed out an 8.5lb, 22in baby & felt better than expected.
If I were to get pregnant again, I would go natural again, especially after what my nurses informed me of how labor is different from natural & the epidural.
My nurses informed me that there are fewer & fewer people coming in & saying they want to "try" going natural, that there is absolutely zero shame in changing your mind & asking/getting the epidural later! Active labor HURTS! Many people who do go natural only go through with it because it is too late to even do the epidural, as was my mother's case when she went into labor with me.
