Personally I would never date a person that is more than 5/7 years older than me. I wouldn't do this for 2 reason:

• I am non attracted to older people, expecially if they are in their late 40s or 50s, because that would feel like dating my father, given the fact that they are close in age to him rather than me.
• I think that being in different moments of lives, take people in having different plans and ideas of how their future should be, I am young, I am finishing my studies and my priority is to find a job, to travel, find financial stability, while a man who is in his 40s may be interested in creating a family, he already has a job and financial stability, so he is living in a completely different way that I am living and I think this is a reason while I could not be compatible with a older man.

So, this type of relationship wouldn't work in my personal opinion. This doesn't mean that people can't make it work, it just only mean that I would not be able to make it work.

What about you? Would you evr date an older person? Why or why not?

My male friend and I had a good relationship until a couple of months ago when he brought up the topic of how there's no unity between women and boys are always so united. I disagreed with him cause I had a different experience with my girlfriends. He was quick to retaliate with, "Oh you have no idea about the world.' I felt like he was offended and didn't want to push it further. I shifted the topic to being scared of horror movies, he said he wasn't and I complimented him for it. He then went on and on about how boys have to be strong-hearted cause their life's tougher than a woman and no matter how much of a feminist I become, this will always be a fact. I didn't even bother to argue on this but he just wouldn't let it go. After that the times I met him these are all that I experienced:

1. Pointing out my lack of experience in things, again.
2. Talking about my lack of skill regarding a language.
3. Mimicing my hand gestures in a mocking way.
4. Trying to scare me as prank and imply that I am a scared little baby. Basically treats me as if I am his junior.
6. If I say something good about myself gives me the glare and questions it.
7. Tried to delete my YouTube app off of my phone because my screen time was 2hr 7m long on a weekend.
8. Would make a big deal if I make a mistake and needs to say it to everyone so they are pissed with me.
9. Would help someone else out with their lack of skill in something but wouldn't help me with the same and lets me be.

The weirdest thing of all is his desperation to prove that he is strong and I am weak. I don't get it, no one ever called him weak (in fact he's adored for being smart and efficient, I am the one who gets perceived as naive and immature) but lately it's like he's obsessed with me and belittling me every step of the way. What's worse is that I am the only one that gets targeted for all the flaws and fears the rest are have their shortcomings without judgement. What could be the reason for this bullying?

So I don't know if it’s b/c I use the apps kind of “casually”, as in every other day/every 2 days etc. It’s kind of rare for me to message a guy daily, unless it’s at the point where we’ve met up & are msging on a different platform/texting etc. But I’m pretty big on asking questions for obv reasons; if 2 msgs have gone by and I’ve asked questions while the guy is only talking about himself/just answering me, I’ll stop replying. I’m not quick to unmatch, unless it’s known we’re not a good match after meeting or they say something gross etc. It shows a lack of interest or the guy potentially being self absorbed…am I too hasty? Is it just how a good chunk of guys are on the apps? Or should I blame myself?
