I often hear this argument/ question being posited and debated between people ALL the time! Because of this, I wanted to see what the GAG community thought on the subject!

Now, I will give my own views and reasons for such and if you'd like to read them, then keep on reading! lol

I believe that there are no moral absolutes, instead morality is subjective both temporally (time), culturally, and even to an extend specially (our species). Moral values have greatly shifted throughout the ages, I do not think this needs validation, but will list some just in case (racism, sexism, genocide, slavery etc). By culture, for instance nudity is considered immoral in the US, whereas in many countries it is either not an issue, or even common (some African tribes). Other more serious examples include maltreatment of minorities (homosexuals etc), capital punishment etc. Lastly, specially, if I were to give a glass of water to a thirsty human it would be considered moral, whereas if I handed them a glass of arsenic (poisin to humans) it would be considered immoral.

so i haven't been on this site long but I've posted a lot of opinions and im happy to see that some people find it helpful. but sometimes (not always) i give advice on things like dating and truth be told i have never been on a date. however i base my opinion off of advice I've heard and been given by friends (i trust there telling the truth btw) , other advice I've been given here, and things i have noticed from friends who are or who had been dating or whatever the topic is, and of corse common sence. so i believe my opinion to be correct

but im thinking about it and kind of feel bad that my advice isn't first hand knoledge all the time, t

I often hear this concept of "leagues". At first I was in denial that they existed but... yea, they do. I have said this before and I'll say it again because I dont expect anyone to remember, much less look at, what I say. Western nations teach people that if you're not born with great looks and money, you will never get quality partners, and will instead get people that will use and take advantage of you. Eastern nations, on the other hand, teach that being born without the necessary qualities to get good partners can easily be fixed through putting more effort into your life. Since I've joined GaG I have seen a variety of takes that favor ideals concerning lack of social mobility and very few takes that support self improvement. My question is, what do you believe in?
