Old GAG Question:
A guy I met about a year ago and only briefly saw every week, caught my eye about a month ago and ever since we've been becoming pretty good friends. He's a year younger than me, but we still hang out a lot due to sports. Today at practice I stood behind him and he turned around and we made eye contact. He smiled and I smiled and we kept making and breaking eye contact for about a minute in awkward silence, still continuing to both smile. I broke the silence by complimenting his last attempt at something in the track event we're both in. He responded with "really? Thank you!!" and he blushed/ turned away slightly. I have a feeling he might like me back, but I don't want to misread his intentions. Any advice?

Update:
It's like 2 months later and the outdoor track season started so I don't see him anymore until June. He gave me his snap when we said bye, but anytime we snap each other he's super short with me. I figured I just wierded him out so I stopped snapping him and we now only talk like once every 2 weeks. I thought I moved on... and then yesterday we unexpectedly saw each other at a track meet. I said hi while he walked by with his team but he seemed a little awkward and like he wasn't enjoying the fact that I said hi. Then when I was done competing, he came over to the event area because he had to compete and we chatted for a few minutes. We caught up on things and it was a nice conversation. Then he asked for my help to warm up (which is weird cause he's more experienced than me but anyway). Then I watched him and a few other friends compete and we continued to hang out and talk all day. We went to lunch with a group of friends to eat and he sat next to me after I sat down. Then we said our goodbyes at the end of the day. I then slid up on his snap story cause he had a funny post and he was short with me again. Could he like me? I'm super confused. :( (Explain poll answer plz)

I had a deep bond with an old friend. I cut that person off 3-4 years ago and it was a very stupid reason. We see each other in the halls and stare at each other till this day. I heard this person doesn’t hold any grudges either. This person also watches my stuff on social media. Whenever I’m near this person, I realized that their happy and obviously moved on a long time ago. Just seeing them have a good time, laugh, smile , and talk a lot to their friends makes me want to not open that door and walk in. If you know what I mean.

I have a reason behind asking this question. I consider myself to be cute at most, however, people in my life have pointed that I’m attractive or whatever other term would fit in that category. Yes, beauty is subjective, however all the pretty girls I’ve met were either taken or had suitors. I am literally always single. Yes, I’m very introverted and don’t go out often, but I mean I work and when I was in school I never got much attention. I was overlooked due to being heavier I presume. Now that I am a few clothing sizes smaller, I still don’t get much attention. People either are interested as to why I’m single or seem kind of shocked/feel sorry for me. I can’t speak for them lol. Anyway, is there a good chance that I’m not pretty since I’m invisible to men? I’ve only been approached by weird and unattractive men.
