I have this male friend, and we agreed to keep it at this level after telling him I liked him. Keep in mind he mentioned not being attracted to me in that way. I've moved on with my feelings, but interestingly, he gets jealous about me being around other men. Like when we are in a social setting and I am talking to a guy, romantically or not, he interjects himself in the conversation. Or even when I talk about my other male friends he visibly gets jealous and disinterested. Its weird because he's in a relationship but acting like this. You would think being my friend would mean encouraging me to explore romantic options and letting me talk to other guys. I understand male friends could be protective but there's a difference between being protective and being jealous. So am I being dramatic or is it possible he may be attracted?

As always internet affected our vision on the other gender. The internet show us what they think we want to see. Most guys may think that now all girls want is money money money or the guy to be tall. In some cases it’s just preferences but honestly it isn’t that much required. a lot of girls would go by the vibe the guy gives off rather than analysis him to know if he fits her demands. [[Alot of girls wouldn’t care if you were short or less fortunate. The people who care the most are the self entitled ones who only care about what they want or what they need to themselves without even seeing if they have anything in common with guy. In my opinion i’d go with any guy who is about 5’4 because i’m 5’0 and I feel like a lot of short girls want a 6’0 and it’s just unnecessary and it looks weird. It will always be the broke ones or not that good looking girls having A LOT of standards. I’ll always defend the guys side on this one because when a guy has preference everyone gets mad at him but when a girl has preferences no one says anything it’s just unfair.]]

I’m doing this thing now where if I have question I just ask it. It can create issues but not as much in my opinion as not asking. In the past I never asked questions bc I felt like people make assumptions on your questions which MAY be true but not asking stuff doesn’t help me at all sooooo even if I avoid giving the wrong impression by not asking - which is debatable - i still walk away with no info. So now I just ask 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyhow, in this situation I asked why, not bc I thought he shouldn’t ask, I just wasn’t sure why he was asking it I don't know I didn’t really think about why I asked why I just asked.

And I don't know why he didn’t know 😂 or maybe he said it without thinking but he could’ve just said that. I knows I love the MONH so it wasn’t a weird thing for him to ask.

Is it strange to not know you’re asking someone if they want to do something?

we get along well he’s nice I have no problem with him. We’ve known each other for almost a year so I was caught off guard for sure…
