My girlfriend hasn’t asked about me since she’s been back from her intense film shoot trip. And she has responded to my messages but she doesn’t respond to flirty or affectionate messages although this may just be me overthinking. Then today she asked if I’m around this weekend or next week after work and asked if we could go get a tea somewhere Sunday evening after I said I’m free then. I asked her if it’s bad as she’s never asks me for a tea and then asked if everything’s ok and she said “Oh I just meant more to catch up”. Is this the end?

I’m confused as we used to message each other all the time and were always making plans. She’s not initiated any messages with me but she’s posting a lot of stories on her insta. The most I’ve got out of her by asking her how she is was “I'm definitely still not 100%. Feeling quite weak and nauseous but now I'm back at work I should start to feel normal again soon” and when I said I have a lot to share with her “Oooh I'm intrigued
We'll setup a time to get together, I'm going to be doing 7 days in a row at work soon because I've got overtime 😭 it'll be worth it for the money but holy helll”

To asking how she’s feeling she responded “ I'm definitely still not 100%
Feeling quite weak and nauseous but now I'm back at work I should start to feel normal again soon”

And to telling her when she’s back to normal I have a lot to share with her and also would love to hear how she's been

If she’s distant after coming back from an intense 2 week work trip

She went on a film shoot for work for 2 weeks and she warned me that she might not be able to be in touch much as it will be intense and all day. I texted her something nice halfway through and she responded to say sorry she hasn’t been in touch much it’s really intense and she’ll need to hibernate when she’s back.

She got back and it was radio silence so I messaged and we had a brief chat where she basically said she’s exhausted and has stuff to catch up on so won’t be able to come to an event with me a few days after she got back as originally planned. She said she had a lot of fun on the trip though and she got a bit ill and it was stressful but they all bonded so well and it was the best film experience she’s had.

To be fair its only been a few days so I do think its just me being anxious and overthinking. My gut instinct says I just need to trust her and give her space so that’s what I plan to do.
