The last time I “dated” someone I was 23, we were in a STR for about 3 months & it ended because to me it felt like settling. Since then, I’ve met up with men from dating apps on and off throughout the years. Maybe 1-3 were kind of sketchy, that was in my early twenties too but since then all the other ones were decent but I just didn’t feel them. And I think it was mutual, sometimes I’d hear back, sometimes I wouldn’t but it was known the feeling was reciprocated. I’m old let’s admit it, I’ve never been in love but intimacy scares me & I don’t really have much of a sex drive at all. Sometimes I have to ask myself if I like men because even though I know I do, I do not like any of these guys in the end. When we communicate on the app it seems fine but when I meet them in person I’m just so bleh towards them. They don’t catfish me, they just don’t live up to my expectations & I’ve learnt to not have any at this point in my life. I’ve been living with my fiancé and his grandma for about 7 months now. Lately she has been getting even sicker (she’s on oxygen 24/7) so that also contributes to her having some breathing issues as well. It’s been a few days since she’s been back home from the hospital since her last visit not too long ago. Everything has been turned upside down!

No drama but everything is about her. I work full time M-F get home at 6pm so majority of my time is there since he doesn’t work but get $ monthly. She was already dependent on him but now it’s worse! He has to feed her, and walk her to the bathroom, clean up after her and clean the house all the time.

NYE was the first time in days we’ve spent more than 1 hr together.. IN THE SAME DAMN HOUSE!!! I’ve been asking him for months for dates, more than 2hrs of quality time, to get away from the house since his grandma is home ALLL the time!! We have no privacy and no peace and quiet at all cause he’s always chasing after her. Anytime we leave the house together it’s pretty much for her benefit not for a good time.

I don’t want to sound selfish but I’ve been helping him before her health declined but it makes me not want to help since there hasn’t been any balance in our relationship. It’s all about her and did I forget to add we’ve only slept in the same bed 5 times the whole 7 months I’ve been here.
I explain to him I want things to change that I want to go out and do things but I get an okay and nothing changes.

We had plans to spend the night at a hotel for NYE but had to cancel cause she need him on the hour by the hour 🙄. Our sex is always good but I’m checked out because if you can find time to have sex with me you can set aside more than an hour of your time!

We had a pregnancy scare but I’m thankful I’m not pregnant because I’d honestly leave this house. Myself nor my baby will sit there and be on the back burner. Not for no no one!!

My husband and I are divorcing after 5 years. 10 years together total. We have a 2 year old together and he doesn’t respect or value our marriage. He has been talking about divorce for a long time now and always try’s to reconcile as I do as well. I thought we were trying to fix things until he asked me for a divorce again. And I found out after he asked for a divorce (2 months prior) he messaged a coworker of mine behind my back flirting and trying to get a quickie out of her. At the time I was in Miami for 3 days having a procedure. When I came back this past October we were trying to get pregnant. Month later he wants a divorce. I also found out he downloaded dating apps on his phone during our marriage. So I’m so hurt that he is telling me now that he feels no connection etc, and is emotionally disconnected. And has been. But why waste my time these past 2 years.. if he could have it in him to get on dating apps and try to have sex with my coworker why did he continue a marriage he had no intention on taking seriously? Even after everything he did I am so hurt and depressed and can’t seem to process even the idea of letting go. Part of me wants to move back home to another state near my family with my toddler (which he agreed to me doing as long as he can have our son in the summers). I just can’t seem to let go, I feel like a failure, I’m still in love, and I’m so scared to just start over again. We moved to Florida away from everyone, built a home, started a life.
