My husband cheated on me?

My husband cheated on me, we have been together over 15 years, and it was only once. He says it wasn’t planned and he was very drunk, he says she came on to him and he just couldn’t say no. He said at the time it felt right, but he regretted it the second he came. He said he dropped her home straight after. He says he didn’t speak to her for weeks afterwards, and that eventually they did speak again, to which she told him she was pregnant. He said he felt shocked and scared and again didn’t speak to her, only to hear from her two weeks later saying she had had an abortion. He said if she kept the baby he wouldn’t have wanted to be in its life and as harsh as it sounds he had 0 care for the baby. He says he loves me and no one could ever replace me, and that it meant absolutely nothing with her, and that it was just sex.

yet, I have found messages where he says he trusts and appreciates her, that he had waited a long time to get what happened, that he thinks she’s kind and has a good heart. That he’s sorry he couldn’t be there for her throughout the abortion. He hasn’t said anything deep to her, and has also mentioned to her that he loves me always.

mum just stuck between two worlds. I don’t want to chuck 15 years away for one mistake, but to continue talking to her is painful for me to accept. From everything here would you say it was just sex or something more? They don’t put kisses and he seems to only speak to her as a friend, though I need find some love songs he sent to her which he said was only becus he liked the song and not becus the lyrics relates to anything.
