Men in my area used to always wear shorts that were well below the knee, with the absolute shortest acceptable length being knee-length. It was kind of an unspoken rule for men to never let shorts go above their knees.

One day though, starting in around 2020 or so, men in my area began suddenly wearing shorts that were well above the knees and showed some thigh. It was a seemingly overnight change. I thought it would be a trend that went away quickly, but it stuck... and not gonna lie, I REALLY don't like it.

Like obviously other people can wear what they want, but I absolutely HATE how it looks. I don't quite know how to describe why, but it makes men look so... naked? It just looks too revealing. I just don't think men's thighs are a feature that need to be shown off. It's like the male equivalent of women wearing butt cheek shorts.

Like the 3 guys in the above photo, I think they would look IMMENSELY better if their shorts at least went to their knees or slightly below. They just kind of look like they're in their boxers, I guess?

That's not the main issue though. You can't even find the longer men's shorts anymore. My male friends told me this when I asked them about the length of men's shorts these days, and I checked the men's section and could confirm. You just couldn't find anything longer than a 9 inch inseam.

And yeah... I'm just really not liking this trend. If I had a boyfriend I'll make sure he never wears shorts that go above his knees... he'll be allowed to wear knee-length or below the knee shorts only! Lol okay no, not really, he can wear whatever he wants, but I'll just verbalize to him that I REALLY don't like it. I don't necessarily want him to change his fashion choices just to please me, but hopefully I incentivize him to at least TRY longer shorts, and/or buy at least a couple.

TL;DR- I'm just absolutely NOT a fan. I don't know, men's thighs are just not particularly attractive to me.

When I was 13 I began get crush on my best friend and when he found out he stopped being my friend and acted like I didn’t exist.

when I was in highscool age 17 I had another crush and I talked to him few times but he didn’t like me back so I never had romantic prom dream come true.

Age 18 - I did meet one guy that liked me back at job but he was never a true boyfriend, that met family , took pics with me, holidays with me, nothing , we began date 2x a month age 23-25 and broke up. So I don't know if he counts as a boyfriend. Only til I was 25 the dates were weekly on our day off.

however from age 18-21 men never showed interest in me never.
I did get married at that time but it was a nonexistent relationship and he use me for papers only.

age 22 - I was sick 72 lbs. I couldn’t eat as I chocked on all food I tried to swallow& had severe anxiety. My life that time was be in bed all day sick with no cure.

now I’m 26 in 2 wks- no boyfriend

since June age 25 - I began trying to talk to my crush at job but it was hard as he worked far and quit. So we never met. Then since septmeber daily men show interest in me but no one talks to me or gets to know me or gives me ride home from job to bond nothing.
also septmeber a new crush showed up that looks like old crush his twin and he likes me so I began like him back.
but it’s end October and we still haven’t talked to each other yet. Last week e just stared at each other & both shy.

he works far like old crush did but he comes to look for me during breaks. I hope this wk we finally talk.
