How do I accept that every guy that wants me is shorter than me?

Look short guys aren’t a problem, it’s my height that most guys are turned off by. I always get asked if I would date a shorter guy. Every date I had was shorter than me. No I am not shallow, my ex boyfriend was 5’7” and he and I dated for a year in a half. He made me so happy and he stole my height. He broke up with me like 7-8 months ago because he was embarrassed to have a taller girlfriend and he said I embarrassed him by wearing heels. He told me I looked ridiculous wearing four inch heels (that made me about 6’8”) and he dumped me. The tallest short guy I’ve dated was 6’2”. Yes 6’2 tall but it’s short to me. He only dated me to show off to his friends. Taller men seem to like the petite, tiny women. Even average height women. I envy women that are under 5’9 because most guys are taller than them and women 5’9” and taller struggles with dating. Tall guys don’t want us. Even a guy I knew from college flipped out saying I’m way too tall and huge to be a woman at 6’4”. I’m bot fat, I’m slender. I guess I’ll have to accept that most men I will date or end up marrying will be shorter than me. I’ll just keep an open mind for now on. My 5’9-5’10” cousin has a 6’6 husband. Lucky girl.

I am very sorry to hear this. I am 6 foot three, and my wife is a foot shorter than me. However, I had a few dates with a girl who was 6 foot when I was in high school, senior year. She was only an intro to shorter than me. while we didn't date seriously, we did remain friends. She is married to a wonderful husband, I think they celebrate 21 years of marriage next spring. He is about 5'8 or 5'9.

I hope that you find a partner who doesn't worry about height and is only concerned about love and happiness. That's really all it takes.

How about if we turn the tables as they say. How would you feel if you met a guy that was maybe seven feet plus. I know everyone has their own opinion and desires.

He would say that he was looking for someone closer his height and you were just too short for his liking.
What would you think about him?

Perhaps try looking at the bigger picture and see if he ticks those boxes for you. For eg, does he treat you right, does he care about you? Compatibility and so on. Now i like tall women, but if i were to end up with one or any woman, i'll be concerned about my boxes being ticked more.

Men are taller than women in general but you freakishly tall for a woman, I am sorry if short women stole all the tall men from you, as a tall men is most fitting for you.

I would gave no problem dating you. I am only 6 feet tall but if you were nice and into me it would not make any difference. You will find somebody that might be a little shorter than you but he will love you just the way you are

Why is that difficult to accept? As far as I know every gal that has ever wanted me is shorter than me. Even though I prefer tall women I have dated short women without hangups.

Because I want a taller man, we’ll prefer them. Most shorter guys rejected me, one dumped me because I was too tall for him and I’ve been let down. Forget it!

Does seem like that would speed up the process doesn't it? I've dated women nearly that tall. They wore 4-6 inch heels. Didn't care. I'm actually not so stuck on myself as to believe I'm the only guy out there like that, especially when so many men are actively seeking a good woman at their side.

Yep you are simply just too tall but I'm sure you can eventually find a tall dude our there, they aren't all average height.

I doubt that. It's likely just that the shorter ones are approaching you, because they're being confident, even if you do wind up with a taller man, which I guarantee you will

I wouldn't date a woman who's taller than me either, but I do feel bad about and acknowledge it's stupid. There are definitely men out there who like taller women, though. Hope you find one of them.
