The guy is Muay Thai class A pro-fighter at the local town's sports centre (Muay Thai oriented). I'm a beginner class B.

I don't know him properly, but I've heard some things about him (mostly good) and I have also looked him up at the fighter's page (he seems to be around my age or slightly older). He's really good at Muay Thai (thai box) and has already won a title and other fight matches as well.

I think I might already have a crush on him. :|

We don't always meet (me being a beginner, him a pro) but when we do he always seems to be looking at me, he comments on the way I do stuff (not always the right way, I have much to learn), he's not rude but he's honest, he's also quite playful, he's noticed it makes me very nervous when he (as an occasional trainer) watches me so we kind of joke about that. 😅 It's hard to explain 😅 My first visit there, he actually let me borrow his expensive skipping rope. He's also always ready to say hi (one time I forgot my stuff there so I went back to this sports centre, I didn't know he's gonna be there and seemed so surprised by seeing me dolled up a little bit in my more normal clothes).

I guess I can't really expect more because we don't meet that often. :/ But when we were getting warmed up, I was supposed to pull him over, he of course did let me win (I guess he sees himself as a gentleman, he has that reputation there, girls said he doesn't punch as hard when sparred against a girl). In that moment, when we touched and held each other's arms, I thought I might have felt something but I brushed it off.

I haven't been with anyone for a long time now so I might sound like a little girl again to you.

I will really appreciate anyone who reads this wall of text of mine and shares what they think.

He has always been careless, emotionally immature kind of person. I always thought he'll get better with time. Since He grew up in super protected environment.

He didn't even do bare minimum efforts and didn't treated me properly , my fault being i never complained and expressed and so he thought its okay to be like that. (And i was waiting that things come from his side itself without me asking)

I used to suffer without letting him know much, me being a hopeless romantic n sensitive person.

Now he's asking me to teach him how to treat girls so that he can do better. I feel its not my place to do. Its something his parents / friends/ himself should have taught him.

As a person he is very pure of heart, honest, and all. But he's superr dumbo and kinda avoid difficult conversations.

Tbh its kinda difficult for me and maybe I'm getting emotional since i have spent soo much time and energy for this guy.

I really wish things worked out but i dont want to lose myself in the process too.

Another being let it go. Things might not get better in future as well.

Another is just be friends. I help him develop as a person as a supportive friend. And if things work out or we feel we can try. Otherwise just friends.

This year I decided to move in with my Grandma and cousins. All my cousins are the same age, we grew up together and get along well. One of my cousins has a best friend who we see regularly and I grew quite fond of him. I had pushed my feelings to the side for a while but as our conversations with each other grew more frequent, my feelings grew. So one day, I confessed and he has also admitted to liking me too for a while.

We talked/flirted heavily with each other for like the first week after we confessed. We're both hopeless romantics, both fell hard and talked about a future together. However, he wanted to tell his best friend (my cousin) what was going on first before taking things further. Needless to say, things didn't go well. There's a 'rule' that my cousin's friends shouldn't go for close family and vice versa because in simple terms, it would complicate things. Also, I found out that this guy has a lot of issues in the romance dept and has led girls on in the past and his ex is kinda still in the picture (I've heard this from my cousins) there's a toxic pattern which he has never learned from apparently😭 He has told me that after talking to my cousin, he realised he wasn't ready to date despite his eagerness before. So we ended things on good terms and stopped talking. He's also not going to visit us as regularly.

Its been a week and my heart is SO heavy. I miss him so much. I grieve the future we could have had together cause I've literally never clicked with someone so fast.

I've talked to other close family about it and they think its none of my cousin's business, also dont understand why we can't figure things out together and believe my cousin is being manipulative. But my cousin would know his friend best right? There's also that bro code. I dont wanna ruin a close friendship.

But I don't know, should I text him? I miss talking to him, but it might further complicate an already fragile situation. Help?
